£40m for Sigurdsson is probably about right. He was involved in 20-odd goals for a poor team last season. Swansea would've almost certainly gone down without him so they'll value him very highly. They would probably be within their rights to ask for more than that when you consider what we got for that cunt Sissoko.

As far as i know all of the internationals are over now so the season is effectively over, i'd be expecting things to start happening around now.

Abdennour was amazing for Monaco a couple of years ago, not sure what he's been like since though. €15m isn't a big layout considering how good he could be for us IMO.

I used to really rate Joe Hart but he's regressed badly over the last 18 months and it seems like more than just a lack of confidence. He always seemed very cocky and sure of himself, maybe he doesn't train as intensely as he used to and has lost some hunger for success? I think we should stay well clear.

I'm not a fan of his but I think he'd be a decent 3rd or 4th choice striker option. He's got a good few years left on his contract so unless we get a great offer for him i'd rather see us keep him for now. We could end up with a lot worse (See Xisco, Kuqi, Ferrerya, Doumbia, Ranger etc.)
