  1. Surely it’s his property so he can do what he likes with it ? I think absolutely that the PL should have some rules that if you are ‘competing’ in their league then you have to at least try to be competitive and not just solely there to advertise your business. It’s sport, not fucking marketing. I also think football clubs should be declared national heritage assets and there be certain rules around what you can do to them. This cunt is having a direct impact on people’s lives with what he’s done to this club. I fully agree with this. But the chances of either happening are slim to zero i reckon.
  2. If there’s one thing you can say about Newcastle fans, it’s that lots of them have amazing thresholds ?
  3. Bruce has a lot of pals in the media. NUFC fans will be made to look like cunts if we don’t “give him a chance”. Fuck him the fat ugly cunt!
  4. I like Maguire. He’s got all the tools to be a top class defender and can also bring the ball out and chip in with goals. He’s only 26 aswell. I think he’s just about the best signing Man Utd could make at the minute.
  5. Yep. Absolutely honking player.

    Graham Carr

Wasn’t Carr rumoured to be recommending mostly players from the same agent towards the end? Definitely something dodgy about that if he was.
  7. Don’t believe the “never been relegated” bullshit that his media pals constantly spout. Allardyce was relegated when he was at Notts County.
  8. This is a great point ? It’s something everyone noticed not long after he’d been in charge, but then i think we’ve taken it for granted as it’s become the norm. Bet it never crossed Ashley or Charnley’s minds once.
  9. This is where i’m at. There’s no way i’m taking my kids to watch NUFC under Mike Ashley. We’ve probably already lost a generation of fans because of this cunt!
  10. Real Madrid Hasn’t even scored a goal in Europe yet but Real are looking at him? Ok.
  11. Isn't it "The Little Waster" himself? Is it? Ah well
  12. I had to turn off after about a minute when he called Keegan “Sir Kevin”. What a boring wanker! And if he’s not just a WUM or a mackem, why does he feel the need to hide his identity? Hope he doesn’t get the attention he’s obviously craving.
  13. Aye all of these fans who keep threatening to cancel their season tickets aren’t helping at all. Quite the opposite in fact. Not that it makes us any better, but i had enough in 2015 and since then 5 of my mates have jacked in aswell. At a guess i’d say we probably had about 500 loyalty points between us and god knows how many years attending home games. I suppose my point is that I literally can’t see any viable excuse to keep going under Ashley. Either take some action or STFU.
  14. Gotta say I was a bit underwhelmed given the thread retitling - there’s a sense when he’s dribbling the fast that he’s not really in control. His last touch before the cross was too heavy because of this, and the cross itself seemed a bit hit-and-hope. Aye, far too casual for my liking!
  15. Imagine taking a football club earning a fraction of its potential commercial revenue, at the most lucrative time in history to own a football club, and actually reducing the commercial revenue. It beggars belief! Business genius my hoop! It's not about the commercial revenue of the club he gives a shit about though is it. It's the global exposure Sports Direct gets off the back of us, that's the kicker. Why you wouldn't want to do both is baffling, but I guess the club doesn't generate the same money as the exposure for his tat empire does, maybe ? I think the point people are making is that he would get his shit company even better exposure if we did normal football club things like try to enhance the commercial revenue and build an exciting, successful team.
  16. Are people really speculating about how much Rafa has in his bank account and how much money he “needs”? FFS
  17. He’s getting pelters already ??? Fantastic! ?
  18. Didn’t they have a wage cap in place? I thought the likes of Henry, Viera and Campbell were on the top money and they wouldn’t go any higher than that. Hence Ashley Cole fucking off to Chelsea. Their wage cap was an aggregate wage cap, but Wenger hamstrung himself by paying shit players really good wages, which meant he couldn't pay the best players top-end wages. Look at what Perez has done at Madrid as a great example. He pays decent players decent wages, but never over-the-top wages that results in him unable to sell them if need be. And he pays the best players the best wages because he knows that the team needs top-end talent to win big matches. Good posts ? I didn’t know that detail about the wage cap, i just remembered that there was one. I suppose Wenger has to take some blame for that situation but in theory it was a decent idea, just not well executed. And i fully agree with Unbelievable, Wenger’s success and impact on the English game was huge! He should be remembered as a great i think.

  20. I seem to remember them being pretty good with Lehmann, Lauren, Campbell, Kolo Toure and Ashley Cole in their backline. They went the full season unbeaten! The way i remember it, Wenger had a hand tied behind his back when they had to pay for the new stadium, Henry decided to leave, and Bergkamp started declining. He did well to keep them in the Champions League for so many years off the belt IMO.
