He didn't take anything today to be fair. He did a few weeks back with my Gordon info though, and the other day with the initial news of Guehi.

For what itā€™s worth, Iā€™ve been told this is a matter of when (imminent), not if. Sounds like some of the players have been in touch with him this week and itā€™s the expectation that heā€™ll be through the door before the end of the week in time to play some part this weekend.

Iā€™ll be honest, Iā€™ve never really actually noticed Scharā€™s aerial weaknessā€¦ not enough for it to be an obvious problem in our team anyway.

So close to being accurate šŸ˜‚ I donā€™t own a box, nor am I a rich bastard. The rest is fairly accurate to be fair šŸ˜‚

šŸ˜‚ Iā€™m happy to admit that Iā€™ve not been told anything about this transfer, but Iā€™ve asked directly about it since and thatā€™s what Iā€™ve been told.

Guehi is definitely wanting to move to us, so Iā€™m told. AG and Tripps have been in his ear on England duty, and heā€™s very close to AG. Also, apparently thereā€™s a clause that would make it significantly cheaper for us to sign him before the season starts (something to do with a sell-on clause, but Iā€™m not sure on specifics), so if it happens, Iā€™m imagining weā€™re pushing really hard to make it happen this side of Southampton.
  8. That third shirt is bloody lovely like. Favourite of them all.
  9. This is correct. (Not sure on location but theyā€™ve definitely just bought a new house)
  10. Theyā€™re aiming for a late October return to full trainingā€¦ mid-November to competitive football is the plan as things stand.
  11. Would still be surprised if he left šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø
  12. I think the away and third kits, and training gear, look fine. Still think the home kit is pretty shit (mainly due to the side ā€œhornsā€).
  13. As I said at the time (from usual sourcesā€¦ as close as you can get to 100% fact), and has been reiterated to me a few times since, the Gordon stuff about his ā€œhead being turnedā€ is absolute nonsense. There was an approach from Liverpool a few weeks before the PSR deadline. It was rejected straight away. There was another approach a few days before deadline which was also rejected. Anthony is fine and has no issues with NUFC at all. Loves it here and wants to progress with us. And as far as Iā€™ve been told, that ā€œmedical bookedā€ story is completely fabricated too.
  14. šŸ˜‚ I genuinely donā€™t understand how anyone can watch his interviews today and see anything other than a happy, committed, man. The tiny bit everyone seems to be getting hung up on is Eddie, quite sensibly, saying that a lot has changed over the summer so providing nothing drastically changes with his role he is 100% happyā€¦ he then goes on to say that thereā€™s no reason to think that anything will change / thinks itā€™ll work fine, and goes on to praise Mitchell massively. So whatā€™s the problem? All of this sounds perfectly sensible and understandable considering the amount of changes. I genuinely think Ashley broke a lot of your spirits likeā€¦ itā€™s a perfectly innocent interview, very reassuring in my eyes (how many times does a man have to say he loves it here, is happy, committed, and doesnā€™t see a problem arising?). Youā€™re getting hung up on some subtext that youā€™re trying to spin into impending doom. I just donā€™t see it at all.
  15. You said "the other issue is lines seem to be blurred within the club". Again, no mention of that from Howe at all. I dunno man, it just frustrates the hell out of me when people (not you specifically) take the most negative spin out of a perfectly fine (and tbh pretty reassuring) interview.
  16. Watch this video - Nothing at all suggests that a boundary has been overstepped.
  17. Give over man... it's a perfectly diplomatic response. It's a "I'm happy but I need to make sure I can work properly with the new people who've come in". Doesn't remotely suggest that any boundaries have been overstepped. Watch the BBC Newcastle interview. He's fine.
  18. Where is this from? Because he says repeatedly that he feels like the new structure will work and that he's happy?
  19. Am I watching something different to everyone else? In both the NUFC TV interview and the BBC Newcastle interview he repeatedly says how happy he is? Isn't it obvious that he will need to continue to feel supported moving forward... not sure why that's news?
  20. Does he look remotely unhappy in that NUFC TV interview?
  21. Raphinha is the one they want, apparently, but to be honest Iā€™m not 100% convinced how my source(s) would necessarily be privy to that level of info.
  22. Not watching the match but Iā€™m going to guess, if itā€™s anything like previous, Kane needs to be subbed?
  23. Absolutely adore that man ā¤ļø
