Kenedy in the Robert role, a midfield with goalscoring threat, and a Woodgate/Bramble esque central defence. You could move Almiron into the Perez role to get more of that Shearer/Bellamy relationship.

My reaction watching the game was no pen. His arm wasn't exactly flailing out, it was pretty much down by his side. That said, I can kind of bring myself to seeing why he gave it, in terms of his arm not being firmly pressed by his side and that the shot maybe leads to a goal or a goalscoring opportunity should it not hit the arm. I daint really care though, tbh

Would be the perfect David Silva replacement but Bernardo looks like he’s taking that role.

Canny few injuries this season including an appendicitis. One of my favourite players in Europe to watch. Just incredible. That's not the main reason he hasn't been playing, he's missed 8 games from injuries this season. Liverpool? I'd have to agree tbh, it's good but it's not on the level of Man City. Front 3 is good, Van Dijk is obviously one of the best around and they've a few solid full backs, but I think they lack real depth outside of Shaqiri and have a relatively average midfield, particular from a creative standpoint. Shows Klopp has done a very very good job to have them compete and compete well with a brilliant City side. Aye, even Origi having to start in such a big game is ridiculous I think Klopp perhaps made a few selection mistakes for them today tbh. I think he looked to players who have derby experience over the players who would more likely win him the game. Origi scoring last derby probably influenced his decision to start him, and bringing on Lallana/Milner over Shaqiri. Imo, if Firmino couldn't start the game, Salah, Mane and Shaqiri should have. Suppose it's easy to say in retrospect, probably hard not to get dragged into playing the occasion instead of the game.

Like that celebration from the Watford bench, not really playing for anything but lots of passion on display still - Garcia has them playing some decent stuff. Don't mind Watford at all.

Would be harsh to stop Schar for one mistake after his recent excellent performances. Think he’s 1 yellow away from suspension anyway so he should play until then and Fede or Clark can step in during his forced absence.

We can't get near these when they attack... their passing and movement looks much better than ours out present. Need to improve.

Few West Ham fans saying they have struggled against back 5's this season. Add in our two holding midfielders and I reckon we can contain the threat of Lanzini and Anderson and take the lead in the first half here.

I've had a firm disliking of WHU for a while now, not sure why it began but along with Everton they're the team currently in the PL that I take the most joy over beating. Wolves now too. Would just love a win today.

Aubameyang played at Heaton Stannington's ground in High Heaton for Gabon's Olympic team, can't recall a trial for us ever taking place though.

For me him and Van Dijk have been the best 2 centre backs this season. Schar > everyone.

Thats like proper fancy and stuff. Few wins and I'm using my spare time making bloody banners for match threads on photoshop Must be back in love with the club again. It's very good but it should be West Ham vs Newcastle, shouldn't it? Home team first. Thought about it but decided given that it's only to be used on a Newcastle-centric site, and that I plan to keep making them for match threads, that the logistics could be excused for continuity purposes.
