In all fairness I think that's just media/family etc, the Sunderland fans are in the opposite stand and it's probably about 2/3 or 3/4 full.

They've looked vulnerable to that long goal kick from the off, their new centre backs seem like an accident waiting to happen.

I know people are thinking that we are reliant on Joselu/Rondon's target man qualities in order to progress up the pitch, but I'd counter that with the fact we spent most of last season playing Gayle up front and did okay all things considered. I'd be very keen to see how the movement of Muto & Perez could work together to create spaces for the likes of Kenedy to exploit.

Best thing about the photo is the lack of Sports Direct signage. The black and white seats look okay but I don't mind the grey at all personally. All covered on match days anyway unlike a certain somewhere

Puyol for sure, aye. Easy to forget his influence and way of playing given that he shared the pitch with so many other legends in Xavi, Iniesta & Messi, but as a captain he was colossal.

About the 20th 'expert' I've seen predict us to go down. These people are either totally clueless or hold Newcastle in unreasonably low regard. I'm actually veering towards the former.

I don't have much faith in Manquillo's ability, but willing to air on the side of optimism and hope he has improved with a year in & around the team under Benitez & his staff.

I picked a pretty bad team if this week is anything to go off, but I was spot on about Benjamin Mendy Will be really important for City this season, made a massive difference to them today.

Really enjoyed her & Aluko's input during the World Cup. Easily more insightful & considered than the majority of the regulars.
