Shelvey was also really good defensively in the match, he won more the ball more than any other player on the pitch. He has certainly added to that side of his game in the past 12 months. He was also the man chasing the ball down, as seen in the second half where he was player pressing highest. Some of the comments towards him are bizarre and lazy. He had a great game.
-
Was a great moment in the first half where he basically rinsed the Spurs team, emerging with the ball from some ludicrously tricky situations. He's my favourite player to watch alongside Shelvey like. Everything he does has intent too, he has all the tricks but uses them with purpose. Substance and not just style, wonderful player.

Think he's doing a fine job on the wing myself, his favoured position is out wide so wouldn't want to disrupt the rhythm & flow to his game.

I wouldn't be so sure tbh. I think there's some promise there, we'll see.

Eventually, once Rafa sees fit, I'd be keen to see this: Ritchie---Perez---Kenedy -----------Muto----------- Sure it's not all that physical, but I can see Perez & Muto interchanging at different points in a game (one leads the line, one drops off). Early days for Muto but he seems a very comfortable footballer which will only benefit the likes of Kenedy & Ritchie as well. Certainly don't see the use in dropping Perez just yet, he was one of our best players in the second half of last season.
-
I think I'm more interested in seeing both Perez & Muto together, rather than one or the other. I think their movement together could be a real problem for defences. Perez has always made lots of smart runs, pulling defenders out of position, and Muto seems intelligent enough to exploit spaces left.

Jota is a good player like, not at the races today though.
-
I still think we'll sign him tbh. He'll be about 30m man Closer to 20 I reckon.
-
Wolves missing a good centre back and a good striker. They will struggle as a result.
-
Uh-oh. Wolves getting bested by 10 man Everton. Shite at defending, Wolves.

I still think we'll sign him tbh.

If there's no damage or tearing to the ACL, a very quick return can be expected. Few weeks maximum. -
Aye, he's a special player Kenedy, perhaps even more than we already know.

Wouldn't be too disappointed with that tbh. Joselu did his job today and it means we have some real impact subs in Muto/Rondon if needed. -
Yep. Might be a case of nerves but they haven't looked all that to me. They look really exposed at the back & I question Jimenez as a goalscorer in this league, or any other league for that matter.

Lovely hit.

Not sure about that red like. Edit: On the second replay, he didn't quite get the ball and caught his man pretty badly. Fair enough, probably.
-
Really liked the look of him today. Seemed to come on and take the game in his stride, a certain air of confidence.

Wolves 0-1 Everton. There's cracks in the pleasuredome.

Very different players I think, Morgan is a defensive midfielder, Andre Gomes is... well I'm not too sure, certainly not a defensive player.
-
Digne? On the bench I think. Gomes? doesn't he play CM Think so aye, although not too convincingly from what I've seen. Looked lightweight for Barca if anything, so very interested to see how he fairs here. Digne signed from Barca too fwiw.

KaKa thinking it was the exact players, rather than other teams actually spending money that generally were commented on. Nah, quite a few were constantly saying how we're being overtaken every time a club spend big on a player. Clearly the frenzy & mad panic was nonsense given that most of these sides had catching up to do in the first place.
