Are they hell. Linking the club's incoming funds with Ashley's buyout, definitely. But there's a clear and obvious link between the club's lack of spending and Ashley's investment elsewhere. Got to disagree. It's his desire to reach the aim (staying in the prem while spending as little as possible). Do you really think if the HoF deal wasn't in the offing NUFC would have spent more ? I agree, there’s plenty already there to take Ashley up on & criticise him without inventing scenarios with no tangible evidence of their relation to NUFC, which is all we should be concerning ourselves with and using our energy on imo. I understand using the HoF deal to make jokes, but to include it in our cause as evidence of his neglect of the club isn’t really helpful.

Not carried out correctly but I think a lot of the players are good signings. It may be one of those classic football fan eat your words moments for a lot of us when we’re sitting pretty come the end of the season. I reckon we’ll be just fine.

He wasn't at the World Cup despite being the best midfielder in the world, so he must have.
-
Also some of the best, if not the best players from their respective teams.

Harsh as fuck. His channel is presented pretty poorly, but 'embarrassing excuse for a human' is a ridiculous comment.

Dummett is absolutely fine at LB, Premier League quality for certain. Not sure what the criticism of him is all about from some. Amazing how fast some people seem to forget the season gone by. He was one of our most consistent players, improving a great deal under Benitez.

Decent signing.

Bracing myself here, but imo Fulham and many other sides still don't have as good an 11/squad as us. Sure they're spending big and we should be too, but it's mainly because they had catching up to do in the first place. I feel people think spending big equates to being overtaken by all of these teams, but it's not the case as it wasn't a level-playing field before the transfer window began. We were already at a higher level than a lot of these sides. They have Seri/Cairney, we have Shelvey/Diame (I'd take our duo). They signed Mawson for loads, Lascelles is much better... and so on.

Juan Mata in the Northern Quarter of Manchester with a camera crew making some sort of film.

Evandro bossed us at times in the pre-season game like, decent player.

True enough, I took a slight hit in midfield for choosing Mendy. I've gone for Hendrick with my limited resources but alongside Salah, Kante & Sanchez it makes for a decent midfield. May have been better served choosing Kenedy as the budget option but we'll see. Have a great feeling about Mendy from an offensive perspective though, he's an absolute monster and unstoppable once he gets a feel for marauding forward. I'm probably totally wrong mind, I've never been too good at making astute judgements in fantasy football

Ahead of Delph/Danilo? You would absolutely think so, yes. Played yesterday against Chelsea for a start.
-
A tip: Only 6% of players globally have selected Benjamin Mendy. He's back fit now and will be one of the best full backs in the league. Slipping under the radar slightly with him being out all last season. Lucas Digne might be a great option too.

Wouldn't be the worst thing for Man Utd imo, would enable them to build a more balanced side. Pogba almost plays a non-role, not quite defensive, not entirely offensive and it hinders them I think. With Fred looking good, and the likes of Matic, Herrera, Pereira & Mctominay all more defensively minded, they would benefit from selling Pogba and bringing in a proper number 10, having 2 dedicated defensive midfielders and a more defined attacking 4. --------------Fred---Matic------------- Sanchez-------New 10--------Rashford -----------------Lukaku----------------

In the Championship, aye

My ex thought that all the fans got given a hymn book with all the chants in before entering the ground I'm all for that tbh.

Be the best thing that could happen to us in regards to pressure on Ashley. Plus we have nothing to lose Well we do... it would be nice to still be a Premier League team by the end of the season, whether Rafa goes or not. I'm not sure what people are getting from this befalling & ill-wishing attitude towards NUFC I've read and seen quite a bit recently.

Chin up, Jacky B.

I know, but again, we may have been relegated without the loan system working in our favour last season. Sure, we'd rather be the club that loan out players to lesser teams, but until then, if it means we get to see talent like Kenedy play for Newcastle and pick up gems like Dubravka last minute - then I'm all for it for now. I'm personally a fan of the loan-to-buy option, as it allows you to see whether or not a player is a good fit before spending the money on them, which can work out beneficially for both club & player.
-
I see your point, but I don't think it's quite so black and white. We may have been fucked last season without Kenedy and Dubravka coming in, so in that instance loans worked out very, very well for us.
-
Agree with your points. I'm a proper Perez fanboy though, have been since he arrived here. He just has that technique that's a joy to watch when he's on his game, which when coupled with his rare work rate for the type of player he is, I rank him as considerably superior and more important to the team than Gayle.
