Very good movement from the forwards. Be class if we had someone who could receive the ball off the defenders, turn and pass forwards

Group G - Belgium, Panama, Tunisia, England - BEL & ENG advance

Yes, because many have been very successful at club level. If they can't perform as a team at international level then it's down to the management of them. Yes I'm aware they have good players at club level, as a national side they've never even lived up to half of that potential 'on paper' imo. I heard people say they were in with a shout of winning this tournament, on that showing not even close. Germany had a poor game yesterday but you could tell it was in them to move through the gears and play very well - can't see that with Belgium. -

Has anyone actually got any reason to believe this Belgium side can perform well as a team? I've kept hearing people bang on about them for a while now and every time I've watched them play (albeit 3/4 times) they've looked so uninspiring. Final ball has been atrocious here. -

Belgium looking fallible. Composure seems lacking too, early doors like. -

Did Boyata get good? He looked pretty poor over here. -

Aw Larsson off injured. What a shame. -
Tbf it's yet to be seen. As usual they're being linked with anyone and everyone and appear active on the surface, but are yet to do fuck all. Worse than us in terms of rumours/speculation + ultimately inactivity and panic buys imo.

Yeap. I'm just doing background tasks like cleaning up my machine etc. Could be doing that myself tbf. Got about 100gb of 'Other' to shift from my storage. Probably mostly cached data that's a nightmare to find. Lucky me eh. -

Christ, self-employment doesn't mix well with World Cup group stages and the abundance of games like. Told myself I would give this one a miss to catch up on work, gan well -

Brilliant save man. Also Toivonen Larsson -
Ayew joking? I'd hope we could do better than him. He's better than Gayle & Joselu so it would at least be an upgrade. We've been linked with worse.
-
Not a bad shout that actually. Would probably take him, certainly better than what we have. Ideally he would replace Gayle and we would bring in someone else as well like.
-
Nah current value of £0. Shame as well cause he was up to £25m in the first half but plummeted with a few misses. These World Cups man.

I actually reckon we're in good shape bar 2/3 incomings. Maybe I'm overly optimistic about our current squad though... I also think we'll get the business done. I must be mad. Is that enough for Rafa? Hope so, cause I don't think we'll be much more active than that. Rafa is so calculated in his approach, even 1/2 additions of quality could see huge improvements
-
Because in front of goal he shows all the composure of a Sunderland player at the school gates Bit of non-starter that argument given he spent the season playing Gayle & Joselu who were dire in front of goal. Like dreadful. Mitrovic's general play is great. Man, if we were being linked with him I'd be so up for it even just based on this match. Shame Edit: I know this discussion/argument is done to death, so sorry for sounding like a broken record - I just really like the guy
