Newcastle United transfer rumours in the press
Infinitely Content replied to Kaizero's topic in Football
You for real? Deeney is all about graft. Always happy to be corrected in my football opinions my friend. Deeney never struck me as the grafting type in a Rafa sense, but more just in a physical lump sense. If you're saying otherwise, however, I will have to reconsider my views. Thank you -

Not convinced by Deeney myself. Not great that he can't even dislodge a poor Andre Gray at Watford. Would rather see Perez given a proper go unless we can get a blatant upgrade. Deeney isn't that, in my mind. I may be wrong though. Also under Rafa do I see Deeney doing any more work from the front than Mitrovic would? Not really. He's a bit of a lump. -
Love watching Arsenal play when attacking. They're the most exciting team of the two imo. If they had a better defence & didn't start Xhaka every game they'd be a great side.
-
Would still have him here in a heartbeat like.
-
Yep, Ozil took the first half by storm, and Hazard has been the highlight of the second. Good game.
-
Yeah that's been their problem for a while now. And it's why I think their fans show frustration and anger every year, as the club incessantly fail to address the glaringly obvious problems at the back and even in centre mid.
-
Ozil is the best player on the pitch tonight like. What an unbelievable talent man.
-
Ozil & Sanchez are just wonderful to watch.
-
Fucking hell
-
Wey aye, didn't realise Arsenal and Chelsea were playing eachother tonight. What a belta. Usually a canny game this.
-
Would go: ------------------Darlow------------------ Sterry---Mbemba---Dummett---Gamez -----------Hayden---Saivet-------------- Murphy---------Merino-----------Aarons ------------------Perez------------------- That should be strong enough to see them off. Definitely shouldn't underestimate them, can see them scoring in the game for sure. 3-1 Toon.

Murphy is very raw, but you can see the potential in him to become our best player. Gayle I just don't really like as a player tbh, and considering his play style doesn't really contribute to the overall team, and he is only there to put the ball in the back of the net, he hasn't done it enough this season for me, and has even missed a fair few chances that he should have scored. Ritchie is the punching bag of the week for some bizarre reason. He's a very good player and we would probably be in the bottom 3 without his contribution this season. Enough said really. As for Gayle, he's okay. Nothing more. Our best performance from a striker all season was from Perez last game, despite having not played in that position for years. Says it all. -

Thats actually a very good question. Who would people say are our 5 best players? I'd go with: Merino, Lascelles, Shelvey, Ritchie, Atsu. Exactly the same for me. -

Lol. Matt Ritchie is comfortably in our top 5 players. Our fans can be right weirdos. -
I know of some interesting restaurants in Guangxi like.
-
We should move our training ground to Shenzhen to attract all the talent.
-
He's class. Wolves outbidding Real Madrid They're gonna win the Prem next year.
-
Yep, Sterling & Salah are the best performers this season for me. De Bruyne just behind.
-
Ayozé Pérez (now playing for Villarreal)

Agreed. He also has better movement & tenacity than Gayle which is essential for a smaller player playing upfront by himself in a physically imposing league. Gayle is so static a lot of the time and it's frustrates the hell out of me, whereas Perez never stops chasing.
