Sensible option, keeps a good solid if not exciting pro at the club and keeps the squad numbers up, it enables us to spend money on first team picks in the summer instead of squad fillers and will no doubt be replaced the following season. Another example of the club been run professionally for me. Anyone thinking we have unlimited money to spend in the summer hasn't been paying attention to the FFP talk. This will Burn, Pope, Schar etc next year.

While ffp is a scam and a way to maintain the cartel I wouldn't be apposed to Everton getting fucked over and relegated, in fact I will laugh my cock off if they go down.

I can't stand people who abstain, if everyone isn't going to vote then the vote should be null and void.

Any chance this could be a Baldrick style cunning plan to get his price down? Don't play him, say he is a crap trainer, tell Chelsea he is not worth £35m but we will do you a favour and take him off your hands for £15m and next season he suddenly turns into Maldini mk2?.
-
Have we decided to sell him for ffp yet?
-
I was only been half sarcastic ?, to be fair we have a right to expect a professional footballer to work on improving his right foot!.
-
He better start using his fucking right foot if he has screwed us for a ffp windfall.

It's a strange one, I was over the moon when we signed him and Tino, with the reports it felt like we had signed England's potential two starting full backs for the next generation, god knows what is going on, Eddie hasn't got any daughters that he might have taken a liking to?, ?

Somewhere with good bbq's.

So peg leg is staying? He has been great for the last season and a half but I would expect him to be moved on in the summer if we are looking to improve as a team.

I have always liked forest, middle level club giving out bloody noses to the big clubs in England and Europe, played good football and had some nice kits back in the day, plus clough was always good for a quote and a laugh.

Got to protect that loyalty bonus!. At the end of the day he is an employee of the club, if the club decides it wants a different employee then so be it, but if it doesn't work out they will get pelters from everyone. As others have said I don't want to loose him but we have got to learn to trust the new owners after years of the Ashley Stockholm syndrome.

Thanks for that, I have been thinking for years that I must have dreamt about that afro mullet advert, second only to the honey monster ones.

What makes me laugh about all these transfers is the loyalty bonus they all pick up when they move, if he has any sense he should just tell City take the loyalty bonus out of the loan fee and give it up if he get a loan to perm move.

I think someone suggested a squad salary cap the other day which I think would be a good idea, followed by limits on squad numbers and players on loan, then in theory you are not capping one person's wages and if everyone has the same size squad people can't abuse things and come up with ideas like 5 subs etc. Transfer fees would still be stupid but at least that would give smaller clubs more opportunity to invest windfall fees as they would know that clubs of their similar size had the same player structure as them and the larger clubs would have to move players on at more reasonable fees, it would encourage more local player development.

This is getting worse and worse for the Premier league and the Cartel clubs, there is going to have to be some kind of independent review of FFP as they are all just looking more corrupt by the day. The more I look at it the more our guys have played a blinder by rigidly sticking to the rules, that in itself has got all the talk about the richest club in the world that the media stirred up and the fact we can't spend is becoming more and more in focus for everyone and when historic clubs like Forrest and Everton are suffering, yes their own fault for spending poorly, it has got to be better for everyone. Bring on the independent regulators.

But what have the Romans ever done for us?

Bruno is the heart of the team, I would rather move on Pope, Trips, Wilson, Miggy and Joe first.

Or could be a ffp sacrificial lamb?

Apparently the Athletic is owned by mags and not a multi nation sports publication. And the FBI have proved we are owned by the Saudi state, there must be a forcefield around the SR postcodes that they don't get out of. Bloody link won't copy

Cheesy chips will be getting flung all over the place when they see that?
