I think this is a bit of a light bulb moment for me and Man utd, for years we have laughed at them complaining about the Glazers after they spend 100's of millions each year, but I think this hammers home the culture they have created.

My biggest concern if I was a man utd fan would be what this says about the culture of the club, yes every club with have it's dark secrets but in allowing this they have given the green light for their employees to act how they want without consequences, probably the only other recent example I can think of on this scale is what happened at Leeds with Woodgate and Bowyer.

I agree it is not on Ten Hag but as the manager he should be saying I don't want him and the club should be backing him, ultimately regardless of his worth the club should be looking at who is more important, the manager or some scrote, if they feel Greenwood is more important than the manager and team and fan unity then they are on a dangerous path that won't end well.

Looking from the outside this is a right mess, yes sometimes people make mistakes in life and should be supported but sometimes things cross a line and this is one. Totally predictable that he wants the money he signed up for, I don't blame him as he thought he was there for life but at the same time it is disappointing that a player isn't taking the chance to get his career back on track. Great result against a good team who I expect to do well this season, there was an aspect of first game, new players, a few loose passes etc but when we are fully up to speed as per last season we are going to be great.

Can't help but think we should have signed a young up and coming striker to learn from Wilson this season, play a few cup games etc. I don't think Wilson will be here next year and we do seem a bit light up front, we know Wilson will only feature or be fit for about 70% of the games this year and with the extra ones we have it is a big ask for Isak to run the line for all of them for the majority, I do think he will be first choice. I just think it would have been a good opportunity to get a young lad in to learn the trade, and get him ready for next season, no idea who but a bit disappointed the scouting team having got anyone in yet.
