Still back Eddie 100%, a team with our squad depth and fixture pile up was always going to struggle at some point. And everything seemed to go against us before a ball was kicked this season, from Mitchell, Isak to transfers etc. I’ve every confidence we’ll get back on track and if we do miss out on Champions League next season so be it, take a reset and move on.. What I can’t stand is people like Luke Edward’s who can’t wait to jump on the ‘fans forcing Eddie out’ bandwagon… fuckin load of shite… The vast majority of folk I know are firmly in the ‘Eddie in’ camp and there was good vocal support for him on Saturday… And whilst I don’t necessarily agree, I do respect the views of others who’d prefer a change… Expectations are much higher now but expectations also need to be managed.. maybe it’s just having experienced real shite at times over almost 50 years that leads me to believe things really ain’t all that bad… and of course I’m still living off a cup final win !!!

Eddie needs to find a proper leader on the pitch to support Bruno… a centre half who directs play and motivates players on the pitch, demanding better at all times… love BDB but he’s too nice and not the answer… every time a goal goes in they’re all just looking at each other… with one exception, Lewis Hall… at least he actually seems fucked off by it…

Another way to look at the scale of the challenge… even before a ball was kicked on Saturday, how many of our starting 11 would Liverpool swap for theirs…. Tonali (in form), Hall…. probably about it tbh

The squad needs strengthening, of course it does, but I don’t see an overhaul happening… In my own opinion we need an established leader at centre half, means we have 4/5 in that position and at least 3 who could be definite starters… perhaps a couple off the books, definitely Lascelles… this is a critical position to organise, communicate and install confidence in others.. A quality striker, playmaker and goalkeeper would be nice but that’s a big ask for all of them.. but again it should be in addition to who we have now.. Probably wishful thinking on the above and there will no doubt be some trade offs to generate cash…ie Osula.. And then a few off the books on big money ie Targett.. thing is every season everyone has a list of players they want moved on, sometimes over half the squad and it simply doesn’t happen.. My point is if we want to challenge we must keep as many top players and try and add to this… not gamble on a number of replacements that we know doesn’t always work out immediately… Oh and get shot of any of the canny lads if they’re not up to it… that is if someone will take them off our hands…

Not for me like, we shouldn’t be sacrificing anyone, especially Tonali and Tino, unless they know about some underlying injury problem with his knee… we need to build our team around these type of players not replace them… We just need a better transfer window in the summer, at least 2 or 3 players who are better or as good as current first teamers…. im still putting last summers window down to Izak/Ekitike situation and some panic buying, although I’m confident the majority of those players will come good..

Can’t see it happening… especially when we’ve Burn who can cover and Trippier who can play there… and Tino when he’s fit… and Alex Murphy who we haven’t really seen… Eddie selects starting players he’s tried and trusted… so he’s not going to bring in a ‘squad’ player and play him instead of a fit to play Hall either…

Pointless bringing anyone in who isn’t going to improve the squad… even if we did I doubt very much they’d get played anyway… Reckon we’re keeping our powder dry for some World Cup bargains…

Liverpool attack with pace.. and then generally have about 5 players in and around the box waiting to be teed up.. We start to attack at pace and then stop, turn back and wait for supporting players to catch up…

I think those decisions are above Eddies pay grade too… and the ability to trade players these days seems to be way, way too complicated for us…
