You know if you are driving and need to fart in the car? You almost have to lift a cheek up, without moving your feet too dramatically so you dont speed up or slam the breaks on or whatever. I once did that but didnt manage to create the desired air space for the fart, I had a definite turtle head situation arise but my arse retook the shit thankfully. Scary moment. Also, if you have the master leccy windows, where you control all windows... fart and keep your fingers on them (or lock them) all so that the other occupants cant get any fresh air. They fucking hate you. This is hilarious and I'm chuckling away here but how has this material appeared on this thread?

I've said a few times, he's not ready to be a number one striker for a shit side, but would be quite happy to see him coming off the bench with no pressure. He's understudy material, not the finished article. Never in a million years will this bloke be a number 9 or centre forward. Use whatever data you want!

I was in Gelsinkirkshen when we played Schalke, a team from Spain (Malaga I think) and West Ham in a pre season "friendly" tournament. I was with my wife and the tournament was to be played on Saturday and Sunday. The German fans were fantastic, didn't see many Spanish fans and the West Ham fans just wanted to fight/kill us. The West Ham fans were a disgrace at that time and I could tell you a lot more but lets not dwell on that. However, the Schalke fans were great and more than made up for the negativity about West Ham. We still keep in contact with the Schalke fans we met. I really should write a more detailed article about the experience because it was great (apart from the police keeping the West Ham fans away).

It's been said on here already, I wish for them exactly what they wish for us.

Too right we are. I have no personal grudge against Bruce, it's just that I think he is an awful football manager. Some of the performances this season have been embarrassing/disorganized/hilarious. The bloke does not have a clue! And I hate the "but we are 13th and in the quarter finals of the FACup" brigade.
-
Good grief. Have you actually watched him play these last two seasons? He's regressed enormously. City even resorted to putting g a midfielder in his position rather than play him.
-
Brilliant!

Could have should have? You've convinced me.

Pray tell who you think the best England manager was. Because you imply both of them. Whichever one you pick is wrong anyway. They were both hopeless as England managers. Still think Sven was a freak free-kick away from bringing that World Cup home with him like. A decent manager would have been there or thereabouts. So frustrating I agree. Sven was shit!
-
I forgot, silly me. No school tomorrow for you is there, if at all sadly.

Better then Hodgson better then Southgate You're 16 years old aren't you? AH that classic line! far from it sadly! so u think Southgate/Bruce are better then Fabio/Sven? Have you followed this thread at all or have you just got out of bed (teenager trademark)? I can't stand Bruce as a manager. Just look at my posts. I will explain in simple terms, just for you. Sven and Capello were highly regarded managers at their time when appointed as the England boss. I'm not disputing that at all. Where they failed MASSIVELY was in the England role. Southgate, in my opinion is way above his station and tactically immature in the ways of International football. We (England) should have a far better manager. Does that answer your question? Now go to bed.

Come on Rod, they weren't crap. They have faults for sure, but you can't say they were crap. Samp, I'm thinking that I'm a lot older than you (now hold on, don't start losing it again). You have looked at Wikipedia probably. Honestly, I haven't even glanced at it. I don't need to cause I remember the fraud that Sven was and Capello (just remembered his name) was not much better. Yes they both would manage winning runs against Malta, Estonia etc but were found out against the big boys. A bit much like now actually. What made it so frustrating was that we did have great/very good players around at that time so we should have done much much better. However poor management came charging through. Right, I'm off to look at wiki.

Luke Edwards is a joke tbf. Absurd last sentence. Samp, everyone is terrified to respond to you now, oh no! Look what you made me do. Bruce has had nothing to do with the takeover. Edwards is stupid for suggesting it. Samp, lighten up man. Do you want a hug?

Cheers Griggs. They were both crap FOR ENGLAND. Is that better?

Mattoon, I wish I could explain myself like that. I thank you. Do you think that samp gadgey will ever come to his senses?

What's the point, that's Bruce done okay then in your opinion? 45 points after 29 games? 50 points? 60 points? Rafa sorted out the defence for sure, but things can go wrong. Team spirit can go shit. Bruce tried something different early on, realised it was the wrong decision and went back to what Rafa had drilled into the team. That was the right decision no? Bruce has done fuck all attacking wise, there's no attacking plan. But team spirit is very important. We've never looked like a team, that will go on a 5-6 game losing streak. We are boring as fuck to watch at home, but joint best defence with 12 goals conceded, 3 defeats, and 1.5 points per game is a solid enough base. I don't hate him. He's not good enough to progress us, he will be gone for next season, and we'll get a new better manager in. That's the correct decision. Ideally Bruce will go on to get another PL job where he can fuck up big time like he has all his career, and that will be the end of the Bruce sympathy bandwagon. At least he won't have time to wreak the damage here. How many points did he need to get, for you to say he did an "okay job"? I'd give the credit to the Rafa coaching the previous 3 years. I don't think he did an okay job, he was just there. So we put a guy in off the street, we're on 35 points atm? Team spirit still the same? People won't just look at a number. They'll take everything into account. Style of play, performance, tactics, team selection, post match analysis and of course, compliance with an already toxic club management. I'd say that in Bruce's case the points on the board are in spite of a shambolic performance in every aspect of his job. How many points did we need on the board, for you to say he's done an okay job? It's not a difficult question to answer. There is no number. I'll be big enough to say that i'll never accept what he does because I think that everything we get is in spite of him and not because of him. If you are prepared to give him credit for the number of points on the board then that's fair enough. Personally, I'm not. There's no number  We win the league. "Fuck that fat cunt, he deserves no credit for winning the league. He's fucking shite." What the fuck are you about? Win the league You've literally said no matter, no matter how points Bruce got, you'd never say he's done an OKAY job. It's an insane comment. Think about it logically FFS. Such an asinine and disingenuous question, if he had more points then we would be playing better football and he would get the credit he would deserve. As it stands the points on the table are contrary to the displays on the pitch, ergo he deserves no credit. To the fact he's more than likely kept us up, he's played his part in facilitating the takeover by doing the minimum expected of him, does that deserve credit? Not really, in any normal club, with the financial outlay supposedly afforded to him, he's massively underperformed and he would be gone. Hell, in any normal club, he wouldn't have got the position to start with. I don't hate Bruce, I hate the idiots that gave him the job, but he hasn't affected anything that would deserve him credit. Massively underperformed? 13th in the league. 35 points. That's massively underperformed? Honestly man this fucking board. All I've said is he's done an okay job this season. Not a good job. Not a great job. AN OKAY JOB. Oh well if you are up for a sensible debate, here's my twopenneth. I actually think Bruce has been disastrous. You are being misled by the total points malarkey. His tactical ability is zero, in his own words "I don't do tactics". I don't wish to cover old ground as it's been covered numerous times on here but I can honestly say in my opinion his football team have been extremely lucky. I have seen possibly three ok performances, however the West Ham away game was just mental. So no, he has not done an ok job. Pretty shit actually. Disastrous is when McLaren got sacked. 24 points from 29 games. That is disastrous. We are 11 points better off than that. We're 14 points ahead of Norwich. We're comfortably ahead of the relegation zone. We've had 9 clean sheets this season. We've beaten Spurs, Man Utd, Chelsea, drew with City. The definition of disastrous is: "highly unsuccessful". 35 points, and quarter finals of the FA Cup is not HIGHLY UNSUCCESSFUL. Not difficult to understand. There you go again quoting numbers. Using your method I could convince you that Sven Goran Eriksson was a great England manager, when every man and his dog knew he was crap. The same for the Italian England manager (forgot his name). They were both disastrous but I bet their stats are remarkable. Do you get my drift? Anyhoo, it's MY opinion that Bruce is terrible and you think he's ......... ok. Nobody has died, now run along.

Exactly this! One of the worst full backs I've seen at Newcastle.

It's exactly this. "Have you got loads of money"? Yes "You're in then".
