I thought you were tired of this thread.

Nowt wrong with VAR. Just the idiots that interpret it.

covmag hates the mackems as much as he does Ashley. I'm sure his comments were dropped in sarcasm. ?

It's a great point actually. As good as the defensive unit is, we are susceptible to a pacy attack. The player we need in the middle in that scenario is Dummett. Trust me.

Well I haven't been a fan of Yedlin tbf. He's tended to concede more goals than he creates, but he has looked good this season. Exactly this!

I fancy Man City to win by the odd goal. They are a superb football team when it all clicks. How you can claim a comfortable Liverpool win is a little strange. Opinions though, I love them.

I remember one of Ameobi's first games was against Barcelona away. He tortured the Barca defence. I'm thinking he was only 19 or 20 years of age. A lot of so called fans on here know "diddly squat" about Ameobi but it sounds hip and cool to slag the bloke off. Get off his back ffs! He was shite man. Look at the manager and players he played under and alongside to learn from, then compare that to Joelinton. Bruce signed Carroll and wants him to be a mentor to him ffs. He wasn't shite. He just wasn't as good as Beardsley, Cole, Shearer and Ferdinand. Christ, look at those names, they were fantastic yet when Ameobi came on the pitch the idiot morons would say "he's shite".

I can quite literally turn those comments on their head and claim that is why Ameobi was classed as shite by a lot of fans. Ameobi was expected to follow in the footsteps of Beardsley, Cole, Shearer and Ferdinand. Was he as good as them? Of course not. So when he did come into the team, you had the morons complaining "he's shite"! He wasn't, he just wasn't as good as those mentioned fabulous players. He was shite man. This bloke will get 6 goals max.

So simple yet brilliant. Well put.

Sorry, but you can’t blame anyone else for missing those howling sitters. You have to finish one on ones when you have that much time through on goal. Finishing was fucking shite and he will need to work on it. This

VAR is brilliant actually by the fact everyone knows what is happening/why etc. What makes it so annoying is that the VAR referees get it so wrong. If I hear "but there was contact" again then I feels I may crack up. Of course there is going to be contact, it's a contact sport. Is hugging someone when a corner is delivered not deemed "but there was contact"? The referees are useless. If a player is grabbing someone by the shirt then it's a foul, simple. If a player falls over after both the attacker and defender "come together" then that is blatant cheating. Anyone that thinks Watford deserved a penalty need their head looking at.

Totally misses the point. Or does he?

Love it. This will actually resonate with them. They are clueless (the fans) of what makes a club. I just wished I could gloat. However, with our terrible/disgraceful/theiving owner I can only raise a faint smile.

We could try doing that even with Joelinton. He clearly doesn't relish high balls winged at him from deep. Get the ball into his feet and see how he gets on. Problem is we don't have enough good possession to get the ball up the pitch where he should be operating. Absolutely. Try playing to his strengths. Which are? I'm intrigued to know what Joelinton's attributes are. Looks to have decent feet in the penalty area on the rare occasion he gets the ball in there. Other than that can't really say until we start getting the ball coming in from decent angles. I'm watching Liverpool v Spurs and Kane gets on the end of an aimless ball hoofed up by a defender. He gets in front of his marker (that's in front of the defender Joelinton) and Son picks up the ball and Spurs nearly score. Why can't our centre forward (cough) do something similar. He is clueless I tell you. Harry Kane is a centre forward and has been a centre forward for a long time. He also has a far better supply. Joelinton has never played this role before in his life, no wonder he looks shite. It's not his fault, he shouldn't be there being asked to do this. Greg, I'm going around in circles with this. Let's cut to the Chase. Do you think Joelinton should be playing in this football team? Yes or no.

It's well known on here that Dubravka NEVER has a poor game. And you are slated if you say otherwise.
