  1. Of course he is, but I have a feeling Jones is over his shoulder like this: Definitely Thing is I’d be more than happy to give him credit, for bringing Jones in, but the way the club leaked this to the press hints towards bringing Jones in as not really his idea. Bruce has said he brought him in and was his first choice. You calling him a liar? There is no way that Bruce sanctioned the recruitment of Jones. Every single time Bruce is asked about him he gets nervous and covers up. If it means the end of Bruce then for once I (begrudgingly) give Ashley credit for this appointment.

This. When we went down a man he knew what his job was and he did it well. He covered a lot of ground, closed down well and broke up play. He'll be a good player under a real coach. He's an absolute hopeless defender. Weak as piss, no idea what a tackle is and don't get me started on his throw ins.

    Joe Willock

When everyone is fit Willock and Hayden would be a very handy middle two.

    Jeff Hendrick

Absolutely this. A pointless signing. Just behind Joelinton in the shitiest player competition.
  5. Luke is a troll, but he was the first to report the Willock deal and first to confirm Choudry wasn't coming so regardless of the fact he is a wind up merchant of the highest order it is clear not everything he says is nonsense. I do agree though that he comes across as having the viewpoint the takeover has no chance when I don't see how that can be the case give arbitration etc. Means nowt. He's on good terms with Bruce so he could get stuff like that off him no problem. Off field matters such as the takeover are different altogether. Like Henry Mauriss, and the fact that only this week he was shown up big style after reporting Jones hadn’t taken any training sessions. The bloke is in my opinion the worst reporter going alongside Ryder. Exactly this!
  6. Exactly my thoughts. Most of them look like girls!

    Joelinton

The role Miggy was in today might suit him. Aye righto, where Miggy was excellent today. Let's put Big Joe there instead.

  9. Yes, that's what I thought also. He ran his nuts off today.
  10. I've just said the same to the wife. If we had been getting beat playing like this then the team would have had a lot of support from us fans.
  11. Well this is refreshing. I thought we could only play one way Mr Bruce!
  12. This is probably spot on about Yedlin. The goals we conceded when the ball was nonchalantly floated over his head to an unmarked winger were numerous. Sometimes his pace saved him but more than not it ended up a goal. He was solid in the championship and half decent the year after. He is yet another player we should have already dumped along with Ritchie, Gayle, Shelvey and I don't mind being overly harsh and likely wrong in saying Clark, who has done well for us this year. Just all limited players that should have been replaced with better. It is no surprise we are always in the mire when we reward them with new contracts instead of shipping them out and upgrading. Having squad depth with limited or aging players that don't kick up a fuss is fine when it isn't approaching half your squad.

Well I can only go off what I have seen of him and he's an awful defender. Never looks confident, never seen a decent tackle from him and his crossing is meh. He does look comfortable when on the ball and I probably agree with others that he is being coached by a moron.

I said it ages ago that his throw ins are hilarious. I mean, a professional footballer who can't take a throw in.
  16. Is this going to be a feature every game, @9Shearergol[/member]? I've already changed my position and explained it more than once. I’m not taking the piss mate, I genuinely need to hear from positive fans (not you samp) Good craic. However, it's now portrayed in the press and media that it's now the players fault. It used to be the fans fault but now it's the players. Ask any of the experts and Bruce is doing a great job. It's not Ashley or Bruce for this shambles. Oh no, its the fans and players of the team are at fault. This club is a mess. Had a zoom thing tonight with some friends during the match, were you on it as that's exactly what was said. No, not me. Just my own old man ramblings. I hate the press and media. They have made out from day one that it is us the fans that are to blame. Its disgraceful. However they are now attacking the players. It's not Bruce, Ashley or Charney. Oh no, it's us. I hate this club that I love.

According to some on here we were in no danger of relegation due to having a massive 18 points in December. I mean, what were they thinking? You know who you are.

  19. I would have Brice as manager over this buffoon. Whoever he is.
  20. A draw probably. Might even be 2-2. Then Bruce will praise the fantastic point gained "and hopefully shut a few people up". F@ckin idiot!
  21. The hope is probably that this 'new set of eyes' will advise Bacon boy where the team is lacking, and give ideas/options how to improve it. But, as it seems Bruce isn't fully onbaord with this appointment, he'll probably ignore the advice and things wont change. At that point we may see Bruce pedalled and this new 'coach' step up. Hopefully not too late though. This is what I think.
  22. We were just as s*** last season as well when you couldn't stop telling people people Bruce was doing a good job This run has been worst than last season. At no point did I say Bruce did a good job. I said last season, he did an okay job. Stop lying Nobody, not a good look. I think you actually claimed Bruce had “Done a good job with team spirit”. That seems to have vanished now for some reason. Perhaps he hadn’t done a good job with that supposed team spirit after all? No the team spirit is f***ed now. Clearly not playing for him. I know confidence is a huge thing in football but I wonder what’s changed this season for that teams spirit to completely go? We played shit football last season but we definitely had good team spirit and we never went on massively bad runs (worst was 3 losses then we picked up 4 points from next 2 games away to Wolves and home to Chelsea). We always picked up a result when we needed one. This season Bruce has nothing tactically and the team spirit looks shite now. We need to get Bruce out and somebody new in. We can improve but if nothing is done, we will pick up 1 point from 5 games at best and be totally fucked tbh. We fluked our way through last season, it wasn't down to Bruce doing an okay job. The rotten football we were serving up was always going to catch up with us results-wise, and playing that sort of horrible football meant that team spirit was bound to flag when the luck ran out. It was entirely predictable, and that's why so many on here didn't take that much notice of the points or league position. It could never be sustainable without a manager who knew what he was doing. Well said.
