Not to start going around in circles again but the takeover was never rejected. That's the whole issue with this sorry saga. The PL have allowed this to drag on by not laying their own laws down and putting an end to it. I keep saying the same thing to some of the knackers on here. I'm staggered that Joelinton is in the team. Offers absolutely NOTHING!

I'm expecting a 3 or 4 nil humping. But do you know what? Our defenders aren't bad but we concede loads of goals. Our midfield is pretty average. Our attackers are fairly good. We should never be anywhere near 17th in my opinion. It is totally down to the poor organisation, game plan and tactics. Steve Bruce step forward.

These were comments from fans that thought we were safe because we had amassed 18 points. I honestly don't want to say I told you so but "I told you so".
