This thread should be enough for those thinking Eddie needs replaced to very quickly change their mind. Barring a brief Rafa break we endured 14 years of wilderness football. This season is seen as shite despite Champions league football, 2 canny cup runs and potential top half/European finish. Fickle motherfuckers man.

That Burnsie has a learning disability so can’t really blame his thought processes but Bird has lost any tiny modicum or respect he had as a poor man’s journalist by thinking that’s a reference point for our fanbase. What a fucking wallop.

We’d be a lot further down the table if our players dropped their arses as quick as some of the folk on this forum.

Is it worth getting all het up about something that’s not happening? Can we go back to the hair-brained schemes for the existing location? How about giant hydraulic rams that lift the East stand high into the air when not in use, giving leazes terrace copious amounts of light? We could also award the contract to a fan who has delivered multi-million pound projects to ensure success.

We all know we’re not moving don’t we? Is it just killing spare time by drawing circles on maps for the best place for a stadium that isn’t going to happen?

I know someone who discussed this with Al-Rumayyan last year and he let slip plans were to invest in St James’, so I’m happy to stick with that philosophy

SJP best located stadium in country, bar none. Can only think Eddie winning a game has meant re focus of whinging and pissmoaning on to stadium/atmosphere.

The constant huge gap between midfield and defence not being addressed is a massive concern. We look visibly slower at closing down than we were at the beginning of the season as well. I wonder if Howe drops Barnes (or even livramento) in to close the gap that encourages the opposition to run straight through midfield at us. He needs to do something to resolve this obvious issue

This won’t be pretty. Tough 1-1.

This season he seems to slow the game down at the wrong time. Maybe confidence levels but he’s struggling with the fluidity of the game when we are in possession.
