First game of the season for me. My key takeaways: The East stand support is awful. Average age must be clicking on 70. The smell of piss is much stronger than any passion. We are so poor defensively through the middle, levels of Bruce era lack of understanding among the defence at times. Howe’ s approach seems to be cautionary these days. The number of times play slowed down from promising positions was frustrating. Longstaff needs dropped/rested. I’ve never seen a player so low on confidence keep being selected . Put the lad out of his misery Dubravkas positioning is woeful Until the triple substitution we would never have scored from open play. Howe had nothing other than attacking players to bring on and when that happened the game was transformed. An absolutely surreal end result from where we were before my the substitutions. How easy it is to get a pint in the labour club after the game. Very impressive. Unbelievable result from where we were prior to the triple sub. What a day.

Lads finished. Absolute wreck of a football player. Can’t see how you can keep playing someone with absolutely no confidence.

Lads got a serious gambling addiction. Crazy you can get a longer ban for gambling than testing positive for cocaine.

That pic still looks more nonce meet than racist collab. What a pair of creepy, weak fucktards

Durham mags have no say in stadium decisions. This is only for those that are born within the sound of the bow bells

Move the stadium and training facilities to London. Attracting better players and a more passionate fanbase.

Were you around when Ashley owned the club? Back then craning in a shipping container was more likely for new changing facilities than converting to a bar for supporters enjoyment. I find it bizarre how some people are pissed off by the slightest thing going on involving our new owners, yet were almost accepting of how Ashley let the club wither.

He scores goals. Is lightning quick and hits a ball really well. He’s that useless he’d get straight into our starting 11.

Clashes with Bruno and both get acl injuries

Your Viagra stock took some hammer that night. Alan Hardyou. -
Remembering the excuses from a lot of the season ticket holders during the Ashley period was “it’s better than shopping with the wife” or “good excuse to meet the lads and have a few pints”. The football is almost secondary to a lot of ST holders hence the shite atmosphere. Nowt to do with acoustics etc. and moving wouldn’t make the tiniest difference barring allowing more plastics in if any element of success was ever allowed by the PL six.

You can see why they’d change the flag seeing as it’s long been adopted by racists, but that’s a shit effort. I’m not a big fan of the national team and all the plastic national pride that goes with a competition doomed to end in yet another failure. I would rather Newcastle won the league cup than England win anything.

The authentic matchday experience! Also including pissing in someone’s pocket, letting off industrial strength fireworks and fire-bombing away fans. Now people are going late to avoid being flapped by a stray flag!

Sven Botman: Out for up to 8 weeks after minor Knee operation (Howe)

Eddie to blame again then. What a poor choice this appointment has been. Couldn’t sign Mbappe. Couldn’t build a new stadium and now he’s injured Botman. -

May need to move from SJP. Place must be built on an ancient burial ground. Fucking cursed club. -
The owners have always told us that this is a slow build project. I assume this means they’ll be planning on staying at SJP for the medium term as a minimum. I believe that when (if) we become a permanent top 6 fixture with regular trophies and tens of thousands of fans locked out they may have to look at alternatives. Until then it’s just the dream of a section of the fanbase. Same folk who want a super club manager instead of Howe etc etc. I’m not even sure we could fill an 80,000 stadium more than 3 times a year without giving away teams 15,000 tickets.

After the purchase of the Strawberry Place land Ghodoussi told The Athletic: "We're working with the city and council to see what we can do. "There are a lot of things that need to happen first, but that’s the way forward. "If we can get it to 60 or 65,000 thousand, amazing." A great decision in my opinion. An 80,000 vanity project is not what we want. Imagine having to close the upper tiers like some two-bit champo club? The high ticket demand for the cathedral on the hill needs to be taken advantage of by a significant increase in ticket prices to keep us in line with the top clubs ST prices. Looks like we are currently miles off the pace: https://www.statista.com/statistics/328654/premier-league-teams-ranked-by-most-expensive-season-ticket-price/

I’m voting staying. Which is pretty lucky as that’s what our owners plan is as well.

Can’t really see the point of expanding SJP or moving. The self-entitlement of some of the support since the take over will probably mean thousands will stop supporting because we haven’t employed Pep, bought Mbappe and announced the new 100,000 seater stadium. It’s a pretty ambitious want for a club that 4 years ago was pretty much a pointless exercise that yo-yo’d between divisions.

Bit like the club he works for.
