Disagree with this. Getting 1 lucky shot on target in the second half is not a performance we'd sing Rafa's praises for. Especially against a side as poor as Crystal Palace were today. Praise was lavished on Rafa when we got 1-0 wins against better sides, whilst clearly playing a plan/system well. Give it 6 months and the luck will even out. Also, imagine what Rafa would have done with the money Bruce got and against the poor oppositions we have faced this season.

Bruce has all the luck.

Manquillo pocketing Zaha. My man.

Does get fouled a lot, in his defence.

Yeah, that's it. Burnley goal was quality, but not sure they did much else. Remember we passed it around the back so well. -

Rafa masterclass last season if I remember correctly. Maybe under heavy pressure second half? Might be confusing the season prior... -
Made several errors this season. Fine to question him. Had two superb games in a row. More of that

Fair play Shelvey. Ridiculous streak of goals by his standards. Carroll with 2 assists in 2 games as well
-
We're shit. Bruce is a fucking imposter riding on the good work of Rafa.
-
Fair fucking play to them. Huge respect.

This is why Schar should be playing. He can pass from defence, Shelvey shouldn’t then feel the need to play so deep to retrieve the ball. Schar's passing ability would mean we don't need to carry Shelvey and use a midfielder who is more mobile. That would give us more balance. I’d keep Shelvey on but he can be more dangerous making his passes from 30 yards further up the pitch. I agree kinda, but then I don't see Shelvey being able to play 30 yards further up the pitch. He won't have the time and space he needs.

This is what happens against a team that won't overcommit. Bruce can't plan a way to break them down or even get into their own third for prolonged periods.

Joelinton is laughably bad.

Starting to wonder if SAF has quietly taken over behind the scenes.
