"The forum" Kid Icarus the barometer of footballing knowledge and common sense.

I wasn't inferring that you are young. I was implying that you know f all about football.

So we should continue to play someone who has put in a string of performances as bad as anything else in living memory?
-
Hopefully he's ended his season and has to go back to the Chelsea physio staff. I'd much rather bring a kid through on the wing than waste time with this fraud. I'd even rather give Murphy a run, and I think Murphy's crap. You're strange, man. You've never met me and you think I'm a strange man because I think a player who has played badly for us might be a bad player. Aye. Aye. Your contributions in here and the Perez thread have led me to the conclusion that you're strange. You carry on thinking that anyone who doesn't share your individual opinions is strange. Doesn't bother me what someone on the internet who doesn't know me thinks. Thanks for sharing though.

I take it you never watched us in the 90's. Or now.

I hope not. I'd be gutted if Rafa got replaced by that t***. Rafa is the classiest manager we've had by miles since Robson. Mourinho has Pardewesque levels of classlessness. Rafa and Jose both boring as f*** managers. Rafa is though working with utter dross in comparison. You're the most boring c*** on the planet. Well that escalated quickly...

For the record, Asprilla was unbelievable on his day, and his best memories are some of the fondest for fans who were around in the mid nineties. Ultimately though, he wasn't consistent enough for us and this probably cost us the title. Shearer and Ferdinand long term would have been the best pair we could have got together, but bad timing meant it wasn't to be. Ayoze Perez is just like Asprilla in that regard if you take away 90% of the good stuff and replace it with falling on the floor. If Perez knocks in a hat trick against Barcelona, I might forgive him.

Shame he's gone - he was definitely holding Man U back. They might actually start playing football just in time to thrash us. I think that's him done in England now. He's completely charmless and toxic, and his coaching methods are prehistoric compared to the new breed of managers. Portugal job for him maybe?

I've not seen enough of our under 23's to know which wingers are suitable for the step up to this level? I don't want to have to play any kid on the wing, but at the minute, that is a less bad alternative to wasting time with this chancer.

From NUFC.com: Saturday saw Slovan play out a 0-0 draw in Prague at Bohemians 1905 in the Czech League. Aarons started and was replaced in the 90th minute for what was the final game of his loan spell there. Aarons played 769 minutes across thirteen games for the mid-table side (starting nine times) but failed to score a single goal. The Czech League now closes down until February and 23 year-old winger Rolando will return to SJP, where he's under contract until 2021 but was unable to claim a first team squad place this season. 0 goals in 769 minutes for an average team in a shit league. It's fair to say that this spell probably isn't going to persuade Rafa to give him a go in the 1st team. What do we do with him now? Still got 2 years on his deal. Does he just get told to find a new club? For me, I just can't see him ever making it in the PL/Champo with his injury risk and apparent lack of ability. Real shame considering the promise he showed when he first burst onto the scene.

To paraphrase the great KK, I would love it if we (our bairns) beat them, love it.

Probably by spending the last few years collapsing on the floor every time someone goes within 6 feet of him. If he makes an effort to start playing the game, he might start to see some decisions going his way. I hope what has been going on is not because he's got a (admittedly entirely deserved) reputation with refs and the opposition have realised this and started to play rough knowing that the ref will think he's dived.

Javier Manquillo (now playing for Celta de Vigo)

Not sure whether I'd want a wing back who can't attack (Dummett) or one who can't defend (this guy). -
Dubs is the absolute find of our last few seasons. I hope the FCB doesn't try to cash in on him in Jan - he's our only player who is good enough in their position to see us challenge for top 7 (if we ever see new investment...) *And maybe Fernandez and Schaar if they keep showing the promise they have

Alexis Sanchez didn't turn from world class to s**** overnight. Under the right manager he'll find his form again. If he had gone to City he'd probably be sitting on 10-15 goals this year. his form did seem to go downhill in the last few months at Arsenal, thought it was just down to him kinda sulking but who knows really He was gash at Arsenal whilst he was trying to force the move. As tempting as it might be to say he's a class player who's underperfomring because he's lost it mentally, I'm more inclined to think that he was just a mixture of overrated and overperfoming when people were raving about him. I think City dodged a big bullet by letting him go to Man U, and I doubt he'll stick around in the PL unless a lower team offers him a ridiculous pay day.

Pep also played with Busquets's Dad, so I doubt the existence and progress of his mate's son was a total surprise to him.
-
Anthony Taylor. For Fulham we have Atkinson. That manc bellend Taylor. At least we're not playing his team. He's still a f***ing buffoon though. Not expecting anything at all from him other than bent decisions against us. Called it.
-
Genuinely think he’d be a different player. I reckon he’s still p*ssed off that we refused to buy him. so he's a non trier? Think he's just a thick f***er personally, constantly making the wrong decision. Confidence player and his head has gone. Even the simple passes are failing so his head is down. So what's his excuse for the rest of this season?

After the string of bent decisions we've had against us this season, the debate is over. Someone please lock this thread.
