  1. 10 years time they'll be doing one of these for Peter Shilton
  2. Despite spending a decent amount of money. The good from Rafa has been totally washed away It really has. The defensive unit that he compiled, organised and drilled to death has been dismantled in the name of a stronger attack and exciting football. Which of course hasn't been delivered. He's like a back-to-front Dalglish. Like a back to front panto donkey more like?
  3. My mate, a retired screw, had to keep an eye on her for a while. Says she'd often wait for the footsteps nearing her door then lie there facing th door, legs akimbo, flicking the bean for when the unlucky guard had to check through the hatch. anyhoo, Bruce is fucking rancid.
  4. As stated, to sit back you need to be organised and well drilled. No matter who you play. To play attacking football, in the premise you're keeping the ball from the opposition thus diluting their offensive threat, you need to actually keep the ball. We can do neither. Hence the number of shots we concede etc etc
  5. Always preferred Ovett to Coe. I think even back then I could see Coe being a corrupt, snivelling, arse licking tory c*nt. Proved right in the end. Ovett being Alf Tupper, obvs.
  6. Surely that first paragraph is all very illegal and if true would land the club in loads of bother. First thing I thought. Is absolutely illegal and breaking furlough rules. Club needs grassed up.
  7. The situation will develop as pif wont wait around forever. Also Ian Mearns MP made an interesting point last night, at what point does Ashley consider this a restraint of trade. Though there own rules don’t appear to have a set timescale for a decision, however a court could rule that this delay is not reasonable and does constitute a restraint of trade. Don’t think it will come to this though as I expect decision in next 2 weeks. Mike Ashley thought lockdown was a restraint of trade Like this much
  8. Unfortunately you are right on this, apart from in ideal world they should give 2 f#%ks about fans. Their product is looking pretty soulless and uninspiring on the telly at present. It's not the PL's job to do what is best for NUFC fans. It's NUFC's job to do that. It's not the PL's fault that we've been left to rot. That's completely on Ashley. Why do the premier league have fan relation officers then, they do have some duty of care when it comes to fans. Unfortunately in this case they clearly don’t give 2 s***s. Anyone thinking the Premier League give, or should give, any f**ks about the fans needs to view the broadcasting timetable for matches. "Booked your travel and accommodation, you say?" "tough shit"
  9. Turns out the bikini top was photoshopped. Not sure about the piss stains or, indeed, the Britian spelling tho. This character's biggest and immediate problem, however, is he was also filmed running up behind a copper and kicking them to the floor. He'll be doing time. Considerable time given his rap sheet.
  10. Howling soon as I realised Coventry were one of the teams "handed" promotion Have to say Jimmy's trolling there is top class. Splurted tea all over the worktop
  11. Nothing better than logging on of a morning and facing ten pages of takeover talk to catch up on. Consumed.
  12. Haven't been on the buses for a while so popped over earlier. 1st thread at the time was them having a go at Sol Campbell for wondering why more BAME members of the population are dying than non-BAME. Skipped that and went straight to them hoping the owner of Peterboro is going to safe their season. Wild
  13. See the League One table if it came to being based on PPG (points per game) should the season get cancelled… ↔ Coventry City – 1.970 ↔ Rotherham United – 1.771 ↑ Wycombe Wanderers – 1.735 ↓ Oxford United – 1.714 ↓ Portsmouth – 1.714 ↓ Fleetwood Town – 1.714 ↓ Peterborough United – 1.685 ↓ Sunderland – 1.638 ↔ Doncaster Rovers – 1.588 ↑ Gillingham – 1.457 ↓ Ipswich Town – 1.444 ↔ Burton Albion – 1.37 ↔ Blackpool – 1.285 ↔ Bristol Rovers – 1.285
  14. Can't be....... https://skwawkbox.org/2020/05/05/premier-league-season-to-complete-in-june-at-st-georges-park-with-players-under-lock-down-at-local-hotels/
  15. That sounds a bit creepy and sexual She is a bit cute Dated PrinceAndrew in 2003 apparently. Obviously a poor judge of character She was 13, young, impressionable
  16. That last part is wrong, it's very easy to circumvent even with the technology they have. This. It's what my gadgie tells me
  17. What a c*** of a buy Rodwell was mind If you ever care to take a look at their Top 10 most expensive buys, it’s absolutely mind-blowing. With the exception of Darren Bent, all of them ended up being a disaster one way or another. Mind, even Bent ended up being a disaster for them. Racially abused, along with his Mum, he returned to relegate them :iamatwat:
  18. What's the benefit, financially, for League One teams in ending the season as is? They don’t have to pay players who will potentially be out of contract anymore wages. They don’t have to pay stadium staff that is needed to play games. Apparently it’s only those who have an outside chance of getting promotion or need to play to ensure they don’t go down who want to carry on playing. Most clubs with nothing to play for are happy to end the season now. So if you work on the assumption they all get a vote then, looking at the table, that's them pied off. Bolton and Southend might as well cut their losses Coventry and Rotherham will take the promotion vote Burton in 12th and those below will be happy to chill out 13 v 10 Be hilarious if it's 12 all and Burton get the casting vote.
  19. I like our old model of bringing in proven players, in pairs, from successful pedigree clubs. Like Rush and Barnes, for example. Butt and Smith. Classy
  20. "I will not sell Newcastle until we win a cup" 2015
  21. As ever with Caulkin that's a good article. Can I just say I think Hall is a bigger cunt than Ashley ever was/is. Greedy tory bastard, imho, obvs.
  22. Belated reply, granted, but I doubt even Khashoggi himself would've taken being publicly marched out of the embassy after being forced into a Donnay Poly Trakkie over beheading and chopping up.
  23. Ah but do they get their own mini wheely bin to cool off? 3rd Division trash Brilliant crack for the lad tho, great stuff
