  1. None of that is true, other than yes, I would hate it ?
  2. Agree there like but, personally, have never been bothered where we sit except when we had season tickets, obvs. Random games well sit anywhere.
  3. Honestly man, you're probably the most dishonest "legacy" fan (sic) going. Putting yourself on this pedestal as if you put more effort into going to games than people who didn't get that access and who probs "couldn't be arsed" anyway. Jog on. It was a closed shop that you and your fellow "regulars" had access to. Now you don't.
  4. Notwithstanding Man City and, before them, Chelsea took the piss but isn't the top and bottom of "modern" Top flight football that you have to get the big calls (transfers) bang on. If you don't, and you're general turn over can't accommodate huge levels of transfer failure, you're doomed. All about revenue.
  5. Mightve had more to do with the fact you were part of a closed shop. Thankfully that's changed now. "Dedicated" ?????
  6. Cheers for that. Fucking brilliant ?????? One of my all time "support actor in a comedy" character along with Superhans and Winston from Still Game ?
  7. Concur. Mine are like The Queen Mum's
  8. Tbf only things stopping me jumping on that particular bandwagon was my snide TV, beer fridge and puuure lazyness ?
  9. Best ones are the uberfans staking a cliam to "legacy" status because they've hardly missed a game "since the takeover" without a hint of irony.
  10. "Here's what you could've won"
  11. Seen that yesterday and even tho I'm 59 and no Brad Pitt I laughed my fucking cock off when he said "I'm fawty faw yer owld"
  12. Reminds me of an old Leading Firefighter we had, back in the day, at Pilgrim St. Lost his rag with one of the lads and said.. "I've got 2 words to say to you and they both end in O" "What? Fucko offo?" Tickled us
  13. Tbf that's cos kids are allowed to view it.
  14. Absolutely and I'm certain the club will tweak things going forward.
  15. Said before that I understand people being miffed but your pal's unfortunate medical emergency isn't relevant here. How's the club meant to accommodate people who've had debilitating surgery after a ballot ffs. I mean people can make their point but some of the argument being put forward here are laughable. People just need to stand by their conviction that they're way more worthy than some other people and not throw dead cats at it.
  16. I'm not being funny but was the gall bladder operation an emergency or did he have prior notice? Elective surgery? Only asking because I would of thought erring on the side of caution after an operation like that and not thinking he could attend a football match 10 (?) days later would be the realistic thing ? no matter where the tickets are for. Wish him well and advise him to steer clear of spicy food for a good while. She's had some agonising nights after dabbling a tad. Admire his positivism mind. Mrs G was in agony for ages. Had a cracking surgeon too. As a separate issue we balloted, and got, 2 x "Cat2" tickets and I fully expect them to be level 7
