  1. Do they have pundits on Man v Food?
  2. Agree, totally. Was all over Migi and straight off the bench v Leicester
  3. Best thing about last night was the shithousery. Rattled them to fuck. I thought the ref let us get on with it, to some degree, but it worked. Culminated in Migi turning into Bruno's minder just before the goal then all Ketsbia when he notched. Buzzin.
  4. Deliberately out-shithoused them in the 1st 30mins. After that they were done.
  5. I'm old enough to remember Michael Knighton 😜
  6. Straw poll On The Buses suggests he's "not as good as Jack Diamond", "likes a drink" & "will end up at Blyth". So they don't want him.
  7. Bit dated now like but did anyone else notice, when Bruno scored the winner, Schmeichel pushing his own player out the way to save the rebound? Keepers man, radge 😂😂😂😂
  8. So many. Albert v Man U HBA v Bolton Mathie v Sheff Wed
  9. Was going to reply with "chalk and cheese" and then had a mental image of Eddie with chalk in his hand next to a blackboard covered in tactics while Bruce stood there with melted cheese all over his chins
  10. The Turbinia used to have a tranny afternoon in the snug on a Wednesday. We were sat outside this house that had had a kitchen fire round the corner on Westbourne AV when they all tipped out. Sure one of the 5'o'clock shadow birds said "how's the bacon, did you say?" as she/he waddled past
  11. It is class like but I have to say that Matthew Raisbeck/Ando bit made the hairs stand up. Poetry.
  12. Fair play to him. Seems pretty legit. Agree with Fantail in that I thought he was a wanker but he's obvs got a solid ethic. Mind, like Barton, he has his "flaws"
  13. Said that before about this pundit.
  14. That header he sent straight into Schmeichel's arms. From a Bruno cross......... Should've sent it back across goal to Wood, if I was being picky
  15. That commentary man Targett keeping the ball in play Willock sending Tielemans for a Chronicle Bruno, well, beautiful Bruno Asking a bit much but Mendy should've got a 2nd yellow and walked as well.
  16. We're not, exactly, playing Leicester reserves but the standard shows how far our squad needs to go.
  17. Let's just put this out there first. They might be in the 3rd div and small time but I keep a keen interest in them simply because they're our nearest and dearest. I've got "Lads" () fans as pals and former colleagues, all of them decent kids. I revel in their misfortune, likewise the other way. I was disappointed they went 2 zip on Friday, over the moon it went 2-2 then gutted the spawny cunts won. Totally mad thing is, if Bruce had stayed, there was every likelihood of us being in the same division next season and I wasn't looking forward to that in all honesty. We're still not mathematically safe but near as dam it. They've got a decent run-in and are nailed on to be in the play-offs. Here's the thing with them tho. My understanding of their owners' arrangement is that Donald & David Brent have to match any investment put forward by KLD. They can't, unless that South American is the bag man for them. That means, once they know where they'll be next season, wrangling over ownership all summer. Even if that's sorted you only have to look at the 3 teams promoted last season and how they've done. Hull, Peterboro and Blackpool all bottom half. Any suggestion Sunderland are bigger than them and, therefore, should coast that league is mute. They're a L1 club with a L1 squad just like those 3 were. It's a far bigger leap than from the Championship to the Prem.
  18. See Shortstaff notched. Sutton's 1st is comical mind. https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/12591025/mansfield-2-3-sutton-league-two-highlights
  19. You would think so but that scenario, whilst good for the supporters, requires investment. Considerable investment, obvs. I even think the article was about Ashley's type of ownership. Absolute minimum investment but enough to get promoted. Good crowds, support ensues. Quick season in the Prem, minimum investment, still receive canny TV revenue and get a huge parachute payment on relegation. rinse, repeat
  20. Cost us £8m to pay-off ours
