Could be just a comparison of "levels" unrelated to age, no? I mean, regardless of age, Elliott wasn't ever going to get decent minutes at CM here. He's gone to a club playing a completely different style of football to us and been let loose. It's worked out great for him. There's absolutely no doubt Lewis could do the same. At the right club, in the right team. As for age, however, the younger chap might struggle with the demand and the consistency requirements.
