It feels like Man City haven't broken much of a sweat to win the league whereas Liverpool have had to give everything to be where they are. Man City have nearly reached 100 points again this season and I could see them doing it again next season, but I can't see Liverpool coming close to this amount points next season maybe if they invest heavily again, but it will be difficult for them.

Play offs for what? I don't really mind for either the Premier League title or just for the 4th Champions League spot. Nah, would be s*** to finish 4th and not get in the Champions League. The play offs only work in the lower leagues because the leagues are too big and without them there would be too many teams playing 1/3 of the season with nothing to play for. Its the same in the Premier League where usually 8 or 9 teams have nothing to play for.

But what about those poor players on £250k a week having to play all those extra games, they barely have time to pour Champagne on their cornflakes and eat Caviar sandwiches as it is.

I wish there were play offs in the Premier League it really adds to the entertainment.

Yes: both need to be binned We need 6 players by my reckoning I think for the first team we need 4 players signed with a striker, centre midfielder, left back and right back the priority. However, we will need more depth in the squad with better back up for Dubravka, a couple of centre midfielders with one of them being versatile like Hayden, a winger, better competition for Perez and Almiron and better back up Rondon. If I were Benitez and had the option to spend over £20 million on two positions it would be for a striker and in centre midfielder I think the rest of the squad can be strengthened with bargain signings like Schar, loans and free transfers.

Can’t see how a rubbish team at odds with their coach and no longer under pressure to get results are suddenly going to challenge the best team of the last decade. I'm not aware of any fall out between Hughton and his players, but they should play with more freedom and take more risks now there chance of them being relegated. When I say Man City could likely drop points against Brighton I mean in comparison to their match against Leicester because they are very strong at home and have dropped most of their points this season away from home.

Liverpool won't have an easy match against Wolves. They have taken 4 points from Man United, Arsenal and Chelsea, 3 from Spurs and 1 from Man City and have only lost to Liverpool and Man City when playing against the top 6 clubs and they had to play Man City with 10 men away from home. I still think Man City will drop points most likely away to Brighton with the pressure of being relegated now off them. I would still rather Liverpool win the league despite the media and some of their fans going to be insufferable about it.
