  1. Looked better today. Still not got a shot on him, but actually running and some crossing ala Murphy looks good on him.
  2. Absolutely love the shade coming from the BBC. This is a great use of their platform.
  3. That's pretty good to be fair
  4. The Fifa Peace Prize man. Is there anything more shallow and manipulative . It's not even clever man, remember when bribes and influence used to be clever?
  5. Love the World Cup, love it. But... are Fifa the worst?
  6. Fair play to this lad. They were clearly targeting and trying to bully him and he held his own.
  7. Do you need to have a mags membership to see them? Just signing in as a regular joe shows nothing available.
  8. Is it true the man (Isak) has a malformed groin? Can't seem to go anywhere in town without people spouting the conspiracy that we knew all along and were right to get rid when we did.
  9. Aye it's not the only the only job, but it is like... THE job . I get what you're saying and I agree with your second point. He does off the ball stuff fine, but as a CF he does nothing with it. Now that I think about it, give our options I'd rather we just stick Joelinton up there, at least he was a striker at some point.
  10. Surely the job is to score goals though, no? If you want someone to run around, Elanga could do that with the same amount of goal threat as Gordon
  11. Ah forgot about his injury. Barnes has an eye for goal if you use him as a poacher and nothing else. There's still a question mark about him in that position. For Gordon, there is no question mark, the guy just cannot play there.
  12. Playing Gordon as a CF? You'd get more goals out of luuk de Jong or Riviere. I'd put Osula or even Barnes up front before Gordon again. It's a failed experiment that doesn't work.
  13. Ben Arfa in every category bar mentality. Sorry not sorry.

Agreed. He'd also be the solution if we played to his strengths.

Big Wolte is mint. He's the least of our problems.
  17. 'Trust the process' seems to be a management phrase in vogue (both in sport and otherwise) recently. It can be a useful mantra when implementing long term plans, but more and more I'm seeing it used to justify 'do what you've always done' or as an excuse to not question management. Eddie is the right man for the job. He's proved it time and time again. But based on recent results we cannot 'trust the process'. He needs to make some changes, and he deserves the time to make them, but he needs to start making those changes now. The current 'process' is not working. Eddie needs to address his own shortcomings, particularly when it comes to player loyalty, recruitment, and tactical flexibility. The players have also let him down. There's a sloppiness to our play. Intensity is not our identity. And there's individuals who are well below where they need to be. The whole team needs some honest introspection, and fast. We cannot afford to put off making changes under the guise of process and patience.
