If they hadn't tried so hard to hold us back ourselves, City and Villa would be competing for the league and not their rivals and we'd not have to play Osula, Elanga and poor old Tripps and co against West Ham and Forest should they need a favour.
-
Don't know if Spurs will go down but do know if anyone could push hard for rules to protect themselves at the top from similar sized clubs overtaking them only to get relegated - it'd be Spurs
-
Never known a club be out the top flight for so long, have a decent season (as good as they've had for 25years) with as little to no buzz as is around these. Feels already like its a chore for them to go to these games let alone create any kind of atmosphere like its the 10th season in a row of finishing midtable.

Don't like clubs being relegated for points deductions, would rather anything than that even if it leads to relegation, like transfer embargo and having to play more youth teams players and stuff. If it had been the other way around they'd have done the same thing re the celebrations so c'est la vie on that

Turned the wireless on about 15mins ago and being set on Raido Newcastle heard a few minutes of it - how is it so dead there!? Its cricket match stuff. This is their best season for 25years!?
-
What if Burn had fallen over from the push and broke an arm. Goal disallowed, free-kick to City and a injured player seems a rough outcome from a foul on our player.
-
I think Ramsey was more Jenas-sy - never looked a bad player just didn't move the dial and a bit meh. Where meh is peak Elanga thus far
-
Bet the thought of Pep storming on the pitch at the end and passive aggressively getting up in his face went through his mind
-
Hasn't got the tools to do much more than that tonight. Given the standard of some of them its an over delivery if anything.
-
Awful display again. A classic favourability insert towards the better team who must be being impeded by the lowly one rather than impartially observing the incident
-
Irrespective of unfairness and the gap to City, we've spent badly here, in the new regulation climate and old. We've spent £55m to get someone worse than Murphy who himself even though worked on by the manager really has been kept at PL level because of our hands being tied behind our backs.
-
Being worried about money (well just ours and City's) was/is just an excuse to Trojan Horse a racket for themselves.

Barnes is the only one that ever comes off the bench that gives me any hope -

individual players really rather than performances - hold everything the manager is capable of back. -

Fine with that with what we've got to play. Injuries, those available tired, one on his last legs having to play every game and three lucky to be at a Premier League club against do what you like City. If those three had even been just average PL players, we'd probably not have lost that. -

Recency bias notwithstanding its probably between him and Wissa. -

Cant believe he's got anywhere in the game based on what he's produced for us. He'd be poor if it was just ability but its the decision making on top of that. -

Only a genius set up like Pep's could unearth for a cartel club an impressive and expensive piece of talent out of the reach of anyone but them from one of the farm territories in the same league. -

Be ideal for the Hallen Masters back home (if they still do that) -

If its not a dire game in a tourist mausoleum, a comfortable defeat and an all round sorry advert for football it would be a pleasant surprise. -
Makes no difference to us. They'd still have been 13points ahead with eleven left.
-
Its never too late (unless they're playing us (and even then not always))
-
CL money is good cheese but its not sustainable whilst the cartel can miss out and delve into deeper revenues every season regardless of performance by virtue of being allowed to establish those revenues that we are not. Whole thing is sewn up nice and tight. Arsenal have just raised ticket prices which off-sets some of our gains and this is how it will continue. Unless the rules change, the pecking is never going to change. Which is the whole purpose of the rules.

He's being a bit Spursy possibly himself setting up too high an opinion of themselves in a contemporary and historical sense and falling short of their over-expectations to a more natural status. Though without the toxicity and tremendous fun for the neutral into the bargain
