West Brom back in the play offs I see. Play-Offs Play-Offs Bruce Play-offs
-
Carlisle have scored though, so swings and round-abouts
-
I guess. Playing really well like all the other top sides do ought to count for something though.
-
Reeks of them getting a scabby late winner though.
-
Carrick's turned Boro season around, unless its just serious momentum carrying them.
-
Manchester United continue to be massively unimpressive. You'd think with Villa and Spurs at it there's no way they'll be in the CL running this season but somehow they probably will be.

Newcastle United vs. Borussia Dortmund - 25/10/23 @ 20:00 (TNT Sports)

They're used to atmosphere but in Germany its atmosphere for the sake of it rather than [assionately reflecting and reacting to the game taking place so well worth being at it again I fancy. "Mind you, it might only be a darts match, but us British have still got to try and hammer these Jormans." - Oz -
They're beginning to describe the whole atmosphere around us as 'cultish' . The support for Tonali, flags, team staying out at the end etc. They've lost half their home games since February and won only four. In perspective that's worse home form than Ossie had in our worst ever season. In keeping with their general outlook being discussed here. The quiet moany atmosphere there is constantly on the brink of toxicity and booing. Can't be a coincidence. Whilst only Arsenal and Liverpool have won at SJP in coming up two years. But that's to be frowned on and they're the ones living right as always.

Pre Butt in the PL I've got O'Brien, Bracewell, Clark, Lee, Venison, Batty, Elliott, Speed, Acuna, (McClen), Dyer, Jenas. Faye was after.
-
Well dont bother to mention any names whatever you do
-
Bomber off Auf Weidersehen Pet lived in a Crystal Palace on one of them Conan films and was a right horrible bastard so they've got a right nerve. Named after baddies lairs and getting all faux moral about things.
-
O'Neill sticking one right up Bournemouth there.
-
Oh he was absolutely shite, a contender for our worst centre-midfield in the PL era - at that point a shoe in with McClen.
-
Bread and butter, day at the office, matter of factly dispatched - top club style. With the CL ahead. Shame there's so much gunk in the league this season as these grotty bring nothing bores arses could do with refinding their level again
-
He was a Newcastle fan mind. Obviously became a Manchester United fan after spending most of his life there as you would. So i never held any ill will against him at all. Not much different to KK or someone with us really. Maradona, Cruyff, Pele and Charlton in short order really. That's the whole facials of legends on the ball on ITV's 1990 World Cup intro except Beckenbauer.
-
Scrappy Doo would have made more sense, since that's both their style of play and a description of their stadium
-
Was perfectly placated with the win and goals what with Palace being as insignificant a club as there is, but knowing how much it'll bother those tossers is the cherry on the icing on the cake.
-
Genuinely was going to bracket those two with (whatever we think of them for us, look at their list). Career wise comparing either to Cattermole and Ball is an insult but just for us yeah it'd be tricky to argue as better than their list but certainly they'd be in it. *also Ki isn't better than Ki, about equal I'd say.
-
Even the Ashley era centre midfield had Cabaye, Willock, Merino, Longstaff, Wijnaldum, Barton, Nolan, Tiote, Sissoko, Shelvey, Diame, Butt, Smith and their boy Ki. Could make a case that every one of them was better than what they've come up with.

Wonder if he finishes his wrestling matches the same way he finishes his football management jobs, with the million dollar dream. -
Even then they've only really got gates of note since 97/98, their biggest average in the 30years prior was 31k and most were below 20k. Were again going back to the mid60s which appears to be where they ceased being a big club other than in memory. It doesn't really warrant compare with ourselves in that area. Only three times since the mid 30s has our average gate been below 20k aside from all the other one sided attendance stats. If there was a way I could agree whilst making it clear I think there's no comparison with us.

As long as they hold on to 2025. Want to be able to say then that they've a worse league (and cup) record than Wimbledon (a club that hasn't existed for 20years) in the last 40years. Its more rounded than now, rolls of the tongue easier and more chance of sticking.
-
Saudia James Park I could live with, rolls of the tongue and the oodles of filthy hard cash helps

Seen somebody on there point out that Saudi Arabia and Yemen are not at war (almost couldn't be further from the truth of the matter) adding "you're not the only one I've had to explain that too" - that's the problem with having Exile as your unchallenged middle-east correspondent.
-
Its a wonder why they don't simply deploy their inbuilt super power of being able to humble and intimidate a mag, anywhere in the world, into submission with a single intellectual line or steely glare instead of asking their own manager out for a fight, glassing their owner, missile throwing towards rival fans and players and spitting at their own players. Must just hold that back for special occasions.
