Might have known it would be that exile creep. Repeating the same thing multiple times every time we win fits nicely with the image of someone who posts exclusively and obsessively about us has created - the sort of nutter that would honestly believe what he's saying.

Fuck me, can you believe these jammy c*nts

I'm wary of preserving the pecking order being passed off like its a good thing when as far as I can tell until now fans of every other club would love to see the established elite fall from grace, changes and resented and mocked protections given to Real Madrid, Juventus etc. and leagues where the same clubs are at the top and are unmoveable. Trying to pass it off as a virtue now.

Its not just that they're nearly always second best in their games but its the margin by how much they are second best. This game should be over and they should be bottom half
-
These two stories bring home how arbitrary and convenient it is. Everton were a bigger club than half that top6 until the PL era and bigger than Liverpool for most of the time before that but now have to at the absolute best make up the numbers because they didn't think to pull up the draw-bridge when part of the big5 (or whatever it was called) in the 80s. Musical chairs nature of it feels outrageous.

They've not threatened the 40000 capacity enough to justify any more until very recently over those 30years. Its been a ground that's rarely been filled historically rather than rarely unfilled. Was regularly empty spaces visibly in the 90s-04 PL run. As this is the Sunderland thread, Leeds support historically probably isn't on Sunderland's level so they ought to really carry the same vibe. I always thought of them as a big club because they were when I got into football but their history is surprisingly stark and gates surprisingly unimpressive.

But there's nothing weird at all in relentlessly slagging off the team you're supposed to support - on the cusp of two wins and a draw in a week against fellow mid-table sides with a massive injury crisis - actually just the relentless slagging off in any circumstance is wanky -

But not Harold Wilson? -
The relentless slagging off of the team and manager on here whenever we don't win AND play well, because one or the other isnt enough for many, convinces me every game about what the problem is. There's been an increasing higher proportion of that sort of 'support' at games for decades now that is more a problem than any stadium contours or sitting/standing. Can you imagine a time when we'd be top of half of the top flight in ridiculous circmstances with injuries where there'd be this much moaning that its not enough?

Level away from home with an injury crisis but not playing well definitely a pitchforks out situation -
Absolutely. Success is a driver of growth and speculating to accumalate isn't rigid enough for FFP. Chelesa and Man City make a ton of money from streams they'd never have without success - Chelsea loaning out a hundred and eight seven players, Man City flushing out the infrastructure whilst being successful was planned has partly done what these rules were supposed to do and limit unsustainable spending, whilst creating two super clubs, prohibiting us and Villa doing the same.

Just glad I experienced a world were talentless morons filming themselves in their rooms were considered creepy nutters and not minor celebrities. Halycon days.

Enjoyed how there's a thread on RTG just below lamenting clubs not living within their means titled 'SAFC losing 100’s of 1000’s every week?'

This cunt been repealed and seen widely for the scam it is yet?

The "that shite!" shit take is one thing but the fake rage and hardness is vulgar. Lot of folk on here go on just the same as that whenever we drop a point but at least dont film it.

Other clubs freshening up the league and breaking through the established tiers of the Premier League competitive or guaranteeing Spurs cant be usurped and can compete for the CL indefinitely competitive?
-
You've worded it a million times more reasonable than it is as far as the criticism goes. Fair criticism (why's Hall not had more game time) gets a fair response but the usual suspects who slag the team and manager off constantly are at best arseholes and some blatant wums

So could thrash Man United, Chelsea, PSG, Sheffield United, the mackems, Villa, a couple against the odds comebacks, beat Arsenal and Man City. Didn't win some other games though -

I know its against the rules of squad limits and ffp but Howe should still have magiced up some better quality players to make up the numbers on the bench and bring on. -

Beautiful game in action. A three minute wait to disallow a goal for a minor, irrelevant, technicality -

Is it like Wimbledon where just because you know their reputation and limiations its okay for them to be rougher than anyone else?
