  1. Bloody radio stream from the official NUFC site is pants for me today
  2. Backup for Wilson until the summer, not ideal but heaps more of an issue on Burnley and potentially helps us overtake them - could be tactical as much as anything (albeit a rather expensive tactic at £20m! In the grand scheme of things, we've been creating multiple chances of late, just not had an out and out striker to put them away, if this helps that and edges us closer to staying up this season then so be it, we can hit up proper targets in the summer if we're safe. I just hope that it's enough, some of the bigger signings that we thought we'd get seem to be struggling which just goes to show how difficult this window really is, no matter how much money we have.
  3. As I understand it, Manquillo is suspended after 5 yellows for the next match. What happened to Dummett?
  4. Proves how precarious our position was/is I guess.
  5. If true (my memory eludes), Man City got beaten 8-1 by Boro the season they got bought by Mansour, maybe we just write this off as a comparison and a kick in the pants for how bad things actually are.
  6. Hope that's the case, it's doesn't help the fans though I suppose.
  7. Speaking of hearts, maybe a trip to the butchers for some ox hearts to be lobbed on the pitch wouldn't go amiss for certain players
  8. It worries me too that Howe didn't berate the players and instead chose to go with positives being taken, can only assume the morale at the club is wafer thin and he's not wanting to rock the boat too much with the impending new signings coming in and relegation battle ahead.
  9. No, it'd be too much of a risk in them being allowed back in the Prem upon promotion I reckon.
  10. Think he's looked shit for a while, probably thinks he's bigger than the club and should be allowed to train/come and go as he pleases, hence he's now acting up under a manager who expects higher standards. At least that's what it looks like, another sulky Frenchman.
  11. What the hell is this? Hopefully he pisses of the wrong people one day, absolute fucking parasite.
  12. Do we have any idea who these players were? They need to having a word with, if they don't want to get stuck in or if they've got a problem with the new signings coming in. The result today was shambolic and utterly embarrassing, we don't need players who are going to put themselves before the club/fans.
  13. Absolutely the worse time for this to happen, now there's doubts over everything, even the manager. Any momentum that was building up from potential new signings will now have changed to sheer desperation. Regardless of not needing a cup run, the embarrassment of being gubbed by a league one team, even if their goal shouldn't have stood, it'll be so damaging to us going into the second half of the season and trying to prevent a damn near inevitable relegation. Laughing stock of association football, nobody does it quite like us, no wonder nobody takes us seriously, even with all the money in the world!
  14. Bloody commentary on 5 Live pisses me off, they're so excited about us being 1-0 down and losing.
  15. No wonder Southampton's boss wants to play against this bunch before we bring some actual players in.
  16. Get the feeling some players aren't willing to fight for their place under the new regime, just accepting that they're going to be replaced by better players at some point. Either that or they're already bitching that the new players coming in will be paid more than them.
  17. If nothing else I still think the Cambridge goal shouldn't have stood, regardless of if it touched Shelvey, they had three players offside when the ball was struck forward.
  18. The lack of strikers is what's showing for us today, that and maybe a bit of the team being unsettled from all the transfer speculation, none of them know if they'll be keeping their places with all the names linked.
  19. Not really, though we'd been having increasingly better performances against Prem opposition until this match so we should be getting a result today no probs.
  20. Surely only if their players weren't offside at the point when the ball was initially kicked?
  21. Surely only if their players weren't offside at the point when the ball was initially kicked?
  22. What bollocks, when the ball was struck by their player they had three offside, doesn't matter if Shelvey touches it.
