I'm not missing anything, I know the matches you're talking about and could point others. I'm just saying that when you step back and look at the whole situation, what we were up against, what we did manage to achieve, and what the teams around us did, I think it's harsh.

I don't see in what world we should have secured 5th or 6th in the circumstances. Being in contention at all was a ridiculous achievement in the circumstances.

The points about us needing to secure it ourselves are harsh imo. We all know what this season's been like, securing the Europa or Conference would have been 5th and 6th and we finished above Man United. Absolutely no shame in having to rely on the best team out there winning yet another final either.
