I also love that it would be Howe once again showing me up as a complete know-nowt if it's a huge success. I've never rated Ramsdale, whenever I saw JSL last season he kept missing sitters, and I've been fairly vocal about not rating either.
-
Seem's like JSL's conversion rate was actually great last season at 26%. 2nd in the league only to Wood. By comparison, Isak's was 20% and Jackson's was around 15%
-
I knew we'd be bent over a barrell, but this is really stretching it. To the extent that it feels like a waste of all the Isak profit before we even have it.

Looks like Shane Gillis

Been here 20+ years. We're disagreeing, I'm just saying that imo it's a subject that's probably not worth debating/arguing, because I'm not going to change my mind on it and I'd bet you'd say the same too, so neither of us would get anything out of it.
-
It's one method among many, yeah. And your response to it just alludes to another method. As I say though, not arguing with you, it's a waste of time.
-
Not disagreeing with you, just trying to understand - would the contract in play not be the one agreed with Burnley which includes a mandatory buy back to Man City and he consented to/signed?
-
Not at all, you'll find that a lot of fans of clubs that have no motivation to like them, don't like them. It's clubs like Man City hoarding talent and having their cake and eating it instead of loaning the player or outright selling them. Not worth arguing about though, no one on here is going to agree with you and your bias for liking them probably means you won't change your stance either.

Eze to Arsenal must really sting for Spurs fans.
-
You're just further describing a symptom there I think. Buy backs are poison
-
Would be a bit weird like.

What's the reasoning for Brentford wanting to sell to Spurs?

Haydn's point isn't difficult or trying to be clever. Wissa is French African, the players listed have French African heritage, as does Wissa. However, unlike Senegal and Algeria, the African part of Wissa's heritage is from a Belgian colony, not a French one. That's it and I agree that it's no big deal, it was a nothing comment that was easy to grasp. Not you, but giving the least charitable interpretation of a throwaway comment from Haydn (IIRC a Geopolitics graduate or something along those lines) just comes across as performative obtuseness as an excuse to lord it over him.
-
Pretended to not understand a very simple throwaway comment so that you could do your obtuse offended hysteria thing, but yeah, no projection about stupidity there.
-
KaKa acting like he didn't know what Haydn was talking about, when he mentioned that Congo was a Belgian colony is relevant. It's not deep.
-
And Haydn pointing out that Congo, the country that he plays for was a Belgian colony is incredibly straightforward, but you decided to pretend to not know what he was talking about, presumably because you're an absolute tit.
-
And just because he's French African doesn't mean Congo, the country he plays for, wasn't a Belgian colony.
-
It's right there in what Haydn said..
-
If he didn't call you insubordinate and churlish it's good that he's an ex

Can someone explain what the second J in JJ is?
-
Yeah it's definitely wrong. Just checked and depending on where you look it's between 13 and 16 percent.
-
Wtf, have I gaslit myself? I could have sworn blind that I'd checked and his conversion rate was atrocious.
-
Strand Larsen now then if its doable. 35+5 is more than fair for Wissa and it's more than fair for a club in Brentford's position to turn it down, so I think it's impasse time and we should look at someone else.
