Hope's stock on these things has fallen drastically after he lied about knowing about Isak's unhappiness at Newcastle a year ago. He has sources in the club and that's good but his own 'takes', predictions, and insight shouldn't be taken too seriously. Much like every other journalist he covers every outcome so he can reverse engineer his prowess if one of them happens.

At this point I think he's the player with the best guarantee of us having what we need as a team to compete at the level we want to. For all his issues with finishing, IIRC Chelsea's good form over the last few seasons has always coincided with Jackson playing.
