  1. I wonder if something like this would be a solution. It still looks better than having a patch imo. Or this
  2. Yet we bought Burn precisely because we desperately needed an immediate upgrade at CB. Burn came in and everyone raved about his performances at CB in 21/22. Lascelles has stepped in admirably in Botman's absence but he's no Dan Burn.
  3. Are you mad? Burn is a much better player and defender than Lascelles
  4. It's unfashionable to rate Burn, but people seem to act like he either wasn't a mainstay in one of best defenses in a team that finished 4th last season, or that he had little to do with it.
  5. FWIW the back of the mock up on kit creator is like this
  6. Not 100% but I think it's also a UEFA thing. Argentina's World Cup top had stripes on the back, but pick any Adidas club team (including the elite ones) who wear stripes and the back will have a patch on it. Juve, previous Bayern kits, Man United's current away kit all have them. It's a shame really, it properly spoils it and to an extent stops the team from even looking like it plays in stripes.
  7. Both could be legit but both are easy to copy, the fit will be more of a giveaway and the fact you got it years ago. Asics were all over the place and did an embroidered logo and a velvety foam one. My 93-94 blue star one I had at the time was embroidered, so is the one I have now that I'm confident is legit. In 94-95 you could get the blue star one and the McEwan's Lager one, I think both had foam Asics logos, or at least the McEwan's one definitely did because I had it. Weirdly the green 3rd kit I had was embroidered. Here's Andy Cole in what I think is an embroidered one, but it's hard to tell with old images.
  8. Allison is both the best traditional and modern 'keeper imo. Truly a cut above everyone
  9. I'm right in thinking he could come straight in with being a free agent, yes?
  10. Quickly becoming the most insufferable crybully fanbase. They're still going on about our match with them as well.
  11. I've actually started reining in my excitement about going with adidas now. The more I've looked into it, the more certain I am that everything will have a patch on the back that ruins everything
  12. Could it be any more nostalgic?
  13. If it's Lloris, Dubravka, or De Gea, I'd go De Gea. They're all dodgy, but De Gea's dodginess is the most offset by his shot stopping talent over the other two. I couldn't stand Lloris like.
  14. Yeah the bit about Trippier is incredibly wrong like

    Lewis Hall

Think he's just another player going through his own process with us and, just like with other players who've come in and not hit the ground running, the same questions will be asked. Really don't have any concerns tbh. It would be ideal to have a ready made left back worth £70m plus, but because we can't do that, getting one in who's widely tipped to be that in a year or two is the next best thing.
  16. Is that not a joke because he's injured?
  17. I might be wrong on this but I think Man City have lost every match this season that Rodri has missed.
  18. Said it before but I think it's worth keeping in mind and I know I do. If we only win our home games and 1 of Luton or Forest away in our next 9, we'll be on the same points total we were at that stage last season.
  19. MOTM by default today really
  20. Brian Mbuemo, surely not man. I have him in my FPL like everyone else, but he's not the answer to our RW problem
  21. Turns out that when they're not absolutely fucking shattered, it's a canny few.
  22. Felt a bit like getting angry at my dog or something today. It wasn't for lack of effort but he got caught on the ball and gave it away so much.
  23. Look on the brightside, some of the other results went our way so we're not that much worse off
