Glad to see everyone laying into the knacker saying it. He soon scarpered quickly as well.
-
You can mitigate for that in other ways though. Imo Bruno playing tonight changes little if anything, they're were all out on their feet and it really showed.
-
Really, yes. Alternatives to Ritchie that are ever going to be worth their salt as players aren't going to be sat in Ritchie's position, they're going to be in Minteh and Kuol's position.
-
Anyone having a go at the players and Trippier in particular is a cunt and can get fucked, it's that simple.
-
There's no doable transfer window that guarantees mitigation from the situation we're in now.
-
Joelinton for me, just constantly making tired passes and losing the ball. They're all knackered, it's not even really a criticism, we know how good they all are.
-
Tonight we played Matt Ritchie for most of the match, we had a youth player playing out of position centre forward that I've never heard of. We beat Man United away with a fresh C team, we've just had to lean on a combination of a knackered A and B team with a few C and D team players thrown in. I really don't think anything other that our injuries, suspensions, and fatigue are even remotely worth talking about tbh, it overrides everything.

I can't complain much about the match really. The performance was really poor, but it was so obviously massively influenced by injuries, suspensions, and fatigue that it makes it hard to apportion any real blame to anything other than those things. We could have done with the last weekend before the international break being last week. Get us in and rested for an extra week and hopefully come back ready to fire on more cylinders Pope: 8.5 Trippier: 4.5 Lascelles: 6.5 Schär: 5 Hall: 5.5 Livramento: 5.5 Miley: 6 Longstaff: 5 Joelinton: 4 Willock: 5.5 Gordon: 5.5 Almiron: 5.5 Ritchie: 5

Surely everyone can see that the players are out on their feet?

The games and injuries have really caught up with us here, we look absolutely shagged. I think it says a lot that our best outfield player is the one with the least amount of minutes this season. Hopefully Eddie can jiggle a few things around and get some energy into us because we're there for the taking at the moment and are lucky to not already be chasing the game. Very hard to know what to do though, the options are extremely limited.

I know I'm just old now but Miley legitimately looks like a 10 year old to me in that tweet -
This season's Spurs from last season it seems
-
17 goals and 5 assists in 11 games for Kane Outrageous like, unreal footballer
-
Nearly 1 nil Luton
-
They'll still probably win no problem, but Man United are making a right dogs dinner of trying to beat Luton at home so far.
-
He's miles better than Haaland as an all-round player like. Better than Shearer was as an all-round player as well, but not as good all-round goal scorer.

Yeah I'm not counting any chickens against Bournemouth like. They've been one of the first teams to sit back, let us try and break them down, and play on the counter. In some ways they were one of the better teams we faced last year. -
Yeah when we played them last season I had this realisation happen to me. Thought he was really impressive and had him mentally noted as a Joelinton understudy until I saw his age.

Unlucky Bluey's dad, mate
-
Ooh that's a succulent little volley
-
Standard N-O. They've been alright goal aside and it's only 20 minutes in.

The Hall booking was a mystery in the context of a match where he was fairly lenient. Didn't think he was bad aside from that tbh.
