  1. Casemiro once again getting away with a deserved red.
  2. Happy with any result here. The fact they're playing each other is the win for us, any result is a good result.
  3. There's absolutely no need for the Twitter bullshit thread anymore apparently. FootballInsider, Graeme Bailey, and Sean Casey all in the space of a couple of pages.
  4. Entertaining match imo. End to end, plenty of chances.
  5. Was gonna say, I have some much worse examples 'love the art not the artist' than Messi like
  6. They weren't there doing the podcast, they were just there as a fan, so no difference really.
  7. Yes, not sure what your point is though.
  8. That's an interesting way of framing it considering he literally had to leave Barca because he wasn't allowed to take a pay cut or play for free He's still a filthy tax dodger like, but that's another matter.
  9. Aye, Allardyce is the managerial personification of "They don't even speak English" in a foreign country.
  10. The Arsenal fans on the Away Days podcast had this down as an Arsenal loss even before our better form and their capitulation. Both predicting 3-1 to us and even more confident of it happening now because of each team's form and because of their centre backs.
  11. The merits of it are another matter (there aren't any imo) I'm just saying that the ticketing system wasn't entirely 'fair' as you put it and some outside of the ticketing criteria went to the final as fans because of their new found links with the club/owner, who wanted them there solely as fans. I.e entirely cronyism.
  12. Not really I think there's enough there to understand what I'm saying. The club wanted all the podcasters at Wembley, put it that way.
  13. Not entirely the case mind. There was a bit of cronyism going on with podcasters AFAIK.
  14. FiveThirtyEight doing itself proud again. I think even the most pessimistic wouldn't have predicted 47 points for us. And only a 4% difference in chance between Man United and Villa making top 4 and them with a 1% chance above Brighton. All ridiculous even without hindsight.
  15. It's all just a completely mess. Presumably at no point during all of this did the ref ask VAR for a second look at it, or VAR suggest it. Just nah, that's a pen, VAR goes aye no bother, no option of a re-review and the 'high bar' overruling what was a clear and obvious error. And yet again it's in Liverpool's favour.
  16. You would expect Brentford to give them a much harder match than that.
  17. Liverpool deserved absolutely nothing from that like, absolutely shite.
  18. Willian's the only one really up for this. Vinicious should have scored there.
  19. It's been pretty even, just as the score should be. Very little goal threat all round
  20. Not sure how it's needed like, they've been getting these decisions all season regardless
  21. Another ex Liverpool player funnily enough. Stephen Warnock.
  22. The ref gave it, not the VAR
  23. I can't believe the referee I've hated the most for the last 20 years, who famously had a reputation for big club/Man United bias hasn't sorted VAR out and it's now even worse.
