Sometimes you just have to say, hei, what a fantastic night of FA Premier League football

Frighteningly accurate

Just heard the goals repeated on Radio Newcastle. You can probably guess Ando's reaction to our 4th

Just the 11 goals scored in the last 2 matches. Fuck VAR I'm counting Schär's.

There was a Liverpool handball that was "too far back" a week ago.

Deeeew iiiiiiit

Then I landed on my wheels and pulled over next to them and said, "What you worried about?"

Suicidal decision unless we're 2-0 up with a couple minutes left I reckon.
-
Unless the half way line isn't perpendicular then I dunno what difference it makes. DCL had almost his entire body ahead of Botman.

Good scoreline but not a good performance. It's actually remarkable how consistently atrocious Marriner is and has been yet again in this match. We need to just accept we won't get anything from him. The fucking is-he-isnt-he over that VAR check as well man, he was clearly almost entirely offside. Definitely need to shape up and get another. Bruno, Joelinton, and Almiron have been too loose with it when pressured. Wilson has been on it.

When Howe puts out a team out of the left field like that, it normally means he has a specific gameplan. Great to see Targett back, let's hope he's as good as he was last season. -
Berba loving Shearer still seems mad like , you would think it would be Bergkamp or if it was Newcastle players Ginola or Beardsley maybe.

Me neither. 'united by cancer' is a fucking wild way of expressing it. The whiplash from following that up with an attempt at a joke is unreal. -

My grandad was a scouser and he was a fucking legend so in my mind I'm sticking up for him. -

Just had the Arsenal All or Nothing on in the background which featured our match. Hugely complimentary of us throughout and you could tell the players were shitting it going into that match with the Champions League to play for. Less than a year later and that's us fighting for the Champions League. Unreal. -

Long term tbh. Ferguson apparently stopped playing Rooney at Goodison because it fired up their crowd and they were dropping points. They stopped playing him and their results improved. -
I think Pope will or should get in there. Liverpool mistake aside he's been by far the best 'keeper in the league this season. Botman is always in and around supporters of other clubs' teams of the season as well. Think it'll be something like: Pope Trippier Stones Saliba, White, Martinez, Ake or Botman Shaw or Zinchenko Casemiro or Rodri KDB Odegaard Saka Haaland Grealish Manager of the season: Guardiola, Arteta, or Howe.

Love how when it's our lot it's the minority spoiling it for the rest of us and giving us a bad name, but when it's anyone else it's that their bad name is justified. Nee one ever thinks these things through. -

I love that Ferdinand goal. Something about the way he picks it up and just immediately powers towards their defence with his shorts up to his tits really does it for me. -
Player of the Season: Joelinton, but it's incredibly close between him, Trippier and Schär. Flop of the Season: A tie between Fraser and Targett Most Improved: Almiron Unsung Hero: Schär Signing of the Season: Pope

If situations like that aren't going to be given as handball (except of course when they are) then something like an indirect free kick needs to be awarded. Imo that's a handball and pen, to get nothing because of some hhmmmm aahktually rule is just daft.
