  1. Aye I hadn't realised that Spurs' biggest coup of the season was a draw with Chelsea. The best teams they've played are us, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man United, and they've lost all of them. They have Arsenal and Man City twice coming up. In April they play us, Man United, Liverpool in a row as well.
  2. If Southampton go down I'd like Salisu like, haven't seen him much this season but he was class last season
  3. Insane that Spurs are where they are
  4. Eh? I didn't say 2 x 30 minutes like, but I meant additional time. Matches already last 1hr 45+ minutes with the half time break, if you're stopping the clock when the ball isn't in play it'll easily get to 2hr 30 minutes in real time

Too many in football media have taken the inexplicable popularity of that absolute creep Peter Drury to heart and think they're F Scott Fitzgerald.
  6. Far too tight to call any team for relegation, but surely at least one of Everton, Wolves, Southampton will go down
  7. Last night the ball was in play for 50 minutes, that's an extra 40 minutes of added time, 30 if you reduce matches to 80 minutes. More extreme matches could easily add an additional hour in stopped time, 15 minutes for half time. Imagine trying to book train or coach tickets and the window for full time is anything from 5pm to 6:15pm
  8. Pretty much yeah. You'd be looking at matches lasting 2.5 hours and over, but without having a defined end time.
  9. Commercials already happen during breaks and during matches on some channels, so it's not a stretch to think it would be more widespread
  10. As is always pointed put when this is brought up, 'time wasting' is more about stopping momentum than wasting time. Stopping the clock would be completely impractical for travelling fans as well
  11. If we've played the hardest games away and had positive results, the easier games at home and had positive results, then switching those things around is a good thing on paper and all else being equal. Football is chaos though so we'll see.
  12. We had a ton of chances against Leeds as you say, last night Arsenal had 1 chance the entire match, just as we did. I know people (often me included) don't like XG, but it tells you the story of both games Newcastle 2.49 Leeds 0.5 Arsenal 1.2 Newcastle 1.1
  13. They created 1 chance in the entire match and Joelinton's was a much bigger opportunity. You'd think it was 1970s Brazil vs 1988 Wimbledon the way these babies are going on.
  14. He's been dodgy in all of his Man United matches like. Probably worth noting.
  15. Twitter fans are a special breed of moronic brat. If that Wilson challenge was a red, Xhaka's on Bruno was. Xhaka was lucky to stay on during that period when the ref went card mad.
  16. Ginola was outstanding in the 95/96 match. Instantly fell in love watching him in that match, the skill was ridiculous
  17. Wew Everton are reeeeaaaally bad
  18. Simeone in the streets, Keegan in the sheets
  19. Yeah they were really impressive. Haven't seen any team beat pur press as easily as that this season

Cracking run of results. On paper you're delighted with 5 points from: Leicester (A) Leeds (H) Arsenal (A)
