You couldn't really say anyone bar Pope, Burn, Botman, and Schar had good games tbh. I wouldn't really single out Willock as being particularly bad either. Certainly not as poor as Wilson, Trippier, and ASM were.

Absolutely bonkers

They were being absolute cunts tbf and the ref more or less gave them carte blanch to do it. Constant holding, pushing, pulling shirts, and barging. Dunk, Webster, March and Mac Allistar were doing it non-stop. Wilson especially let it get to him and the ref gave him nothing, he'd have been better off hitting the deck every time and winning a few free kicks high up the pitch.

Not keen on Gordon or Gallagher as players we need to give us that step up in quality tbh.

It would absolutely send the wrong message imo. Burn was excellent against Forest, arguably the MOTM and he was our best outfield player today. You don't drop a player when they're performing.

Burn was easily our best outfield player like. Good to know we can depend on him at left back.

Was thinking exactly that while watching it. Neville has his blinkers on when it comes to Man United usually though, like thinking they're above hiring Conte.

If it was on his performance alone you'd say yes, but Burn was even better imo, so probably not.

ASM had a typical half good half bad performance for me today, but honestly I thought Wilson stood out as the worst of the 3 and Almiron was impressive at times. Dunk completely dominated Wilson and you could tell they'd got in his head a bit. Everything he did apart from that cross looked off it. Of course the good thing about Wilson is that he can have games like that where he still scores, unlike the other 2.

I'm sure he'll still massively have his work cut out for him next week, but I'm pleased he won't be up against Sterling. He was the only player I saw him struggle with last season.
