You’re right it was 2-0 to us (October 2014). Could have sworn it was 2-1 and also was sure Kevin Mbabu was playing up against Sterling that game. But looking at date, I’ve obviously conflated different games, as Mbabu dominating Sterling must have been later.

I wouldn’t confuse nice with soft. The best leaders treat everyone with equal kindness and concern. High standards and high support. The best leaders get the best out of their teams. The gap between the ‘quality on paper’ of our squad and the quality of the squads in clubs like yours is shrinking. We’ve already overtaken most in terms of team spirit; despite being somewhat second tier in terms of salaries. It would be foolish to think that team spirit/togetherness doesn’t really matter.
