Don’t recall it like that, despite the evidence of people on here expressing negative views about him. He was still a teenager, and our player with the most potential, when he first went to Villa. Has been great since then and always looked like he would from my perspective (I was gutted when he was permanently transferred to them). Soooo, if we do in fact have £68m income from Anderson and Minteh, how much can we spend?

I wonder if that’s a loophole PSR wise. Get £35m income which can enable significantly more spending than that this year. Spend £60m on MGW (yes please) which via some accounting jiggery pokery puts us in a better position than a £25m deficit. Feel I should understand FFP/PSR by now but really don’t.

Call me paranoid, but as soon as Gordon started being picked out by the media spotlight with lots of airtime and positive strokes, I thought how long will it be before they start having a pop and negative/unsettling stories appear?
