  1. City haven’t been let run the midfield like they usually do which exposes frailties elsewhere. I do hope they win though.. Italian fans are the worst.. bunch of racist neanderthals.
  2. I think you have to pay a bunch for access to their API’s.. not viable would be my guess.
  3. Just can’t see Rice signing for another London club, his connection with West Ham supporters is too strong. It'll be outside he’ll go and that only leaves a few clubs.. either Manchester clubs, us or Liverpool, or further away.. Germany or maybe even PSG if they were being clever.
  4. Pope was a “bargain type” last summer and he turned out to be one of the most important signings we made. Have faith in the recruitment setup and I include Gordon in that, he’ll come good. Playing in a shit team does not make you a bad player.
  5. Turned into a decent game. Don’t really care who wins but the West Ham fans are total cunts so there’s always that.
  6. Upwards of 6 billion. Mad money, but they do rake it in.
  7. Decent listen, few key points.. mentioned stadium expansion and at the end said they’d like to work with a brand like Nike
  8. I hope he stays despite being somewhat of a square peg in a round hole currently. If he can add consistency to his game he’s almost unplayable. He showed what he can do properly in less than 10 games this season. Which is why lesser lights have been in favour ahead of him.
  9. Read that, so everyone suffered in Covid in one way or another. So I’m guessing the deal that was offered was something like.. “oh you haven’t been able to pay rent for the best part of 2 years.. that’s fine.. when things pick up wound you mind committing to staying for 5 years?” Honestly don’t see what the issue is there?
  10. Why is my newsnow feed filled with stories about the dippers being in talks for Bruno.. i mean i know it's bullshit, but is it just a campaign to try and unsettle him? Or agent hijinks to get a better contract?
  11. I’m hoping not too much, it will be nicely balanced between new player threads.
  12. Player of the Season: Sean Longstaff Most Improved Player of the Season: Miggy Most Disappointing Player: Dan Burn Signing of the Season: Botman Goal of the Season: Tripps v City Assist of the season: Willock for Isak Game of the Season: home v City Moment of the Season: Trippier’s penalty antics Manager rating out of 10: 8 Season rating out of 10: 8
  13. I think 35-40 million gets Maddison done now, maybe less. Although to be honest I’d rather we look elsewhere. He looks a shell of a person after that season.
  14. If you have a few brain cells you can easily assess that Spurs are in a tailspin of terrible decisions. But yeah London probably still does have a draw when it comes to the WAG’s. Listen to what Conte said.. “if you don’t care about trying to achieve something, it’s easy” or something to that effect. The players don’t want to play under pressure there. If Maddison has identified Spurs as a preferential destination that tells you all you need to know about his aspirations. And probably same about Harry Kane if he stays. If you have ambition, want to work hard and know and accept that you’re going to play for a coach who expects/demands maximum effort, Newcastle is the place.

  16. Brighton are such a weird team, playing so well here.
  17. I worried it would play out like this. They have no intention of trying to do anything. We need to be ruthless for next chances. Wilson has been wasteful, as has Isak and Miggy.. it’s screaming out for someone to take a hit from midfield.
  18. Yep that was a red, got away with one big time.
  19. This, I don’t think we’ll lose but we do a lot better against teams that will have a go at it. Leicester sitting back and hoping not to concede is a tricky one if the first half goes by with no goals. We’ve got the players to move them about though.
  20. He always lacked in maturity, lacked in overall work ethic and lacked in the brains department. Swansea got the best of him without doubt, but even that was a fleeting moment over a whole career. He had a few decent games here but it was mostly gash. He’s not outgoing or articulate enough to make a career out of punditry, he’ll be given a crack at it I’m sure but wouldn’t hold much hope.
  21. Re: Schmeichel, I don’t get what happened there. They just let him go? Didn’t extend contract?
  22. I’m watching Maddison and wondering how anyone could justify spending 60m on that. Loses ball and half heartedly jogs back in the direction of the goal.. can’t stand any player doing that. Shelvey used to do that. He’s weak as piss as well. I hope we don’t go in for him.
  23. Let’s just take it that Liverpool will win their remaining games. I think we can take points in all our remaining ones minimum but will that be enough? Brighton are in a good spot but we’re not far off. I just fear we’ve had a good run and might be going off the boil at the wrong time. Need some big performances from those who are fit to play. Joelinton has to go back to the wing.. Isak to the middle and at this point in season I’d be happier to start Murphy on right midfield if Longstaff is still out. He’d have the legs to cover for Bruno at least. And Miggy could play wing and let them switch when they want.
