  1. Aside from moving a little slower than they would have liked at some points, the new owners have barely put a foot wrong since they came in. We don't seem to be making any of the same mistakes other clubs with new money have made.
  2. Watching his post match comments, i felt a wave of anxiety for what we could still be stuck with. Fuck every one of those cunts who gas-lit us for the time he was here. "He's a top manager" etc.. "They'll never accept him because he managed Sunderland..." No. We were never going to accept him because he's absolute dogshit.
  3. Not worried about this one at all. If we want him we’ll make sure we bid the most. If he wants to come here it will happen. We’ll have many options in the summer once we manage to stay up.
  4. This happened the last time, had a run of a few decent games and was awarded with a new contract then before the ink was dry he was back to sub-standard performances. But that was Steve Bruce.
  5. That's the way i'm seeing it, no doubt Burnley are a hard team to break down but Brighton were well below par on Saturday. Just wait until Dan Burn is missing for us at some point, it won't be pretty. Can only assume they are in the same boat. Looking at Burnley's fixtures, it's easy to imagine them getting 0 points from next 4 games, maybe a draw with Palace but that is no certainty.
  6. Just can’t look past Burnley only winning 2 games all season so far.
  7. You can’t drop Joelinton and you can’t drop Willock currently but Shelvey has had a couple of good games.. history suggests he’ll go off the boil again so why not freshen things up with Bruno in for him. We’re going to dominate the midfield here (feels weird even typing that) so perfect game to throw him in.
  8. Far too easy to cut through both sides. I think we’d beat both currently. I wouldn’t like to see Leeds go down, they’re far too much fun.
  9. Scoreline flatters Leeds as well.

The Arena site found hardly be called the outskirts ?
  11. Oh Eddie definitely has a ruthless streak. And certainly isn’t a pushover either, not throwing Bruno in straight away is a perfect example.. spending 40 million on a player must be a huge pressure in terms of team selection.

I like the idea of the arena site and whether they have planning permission to do something, they haven’t started it and there’s probably loads of reasons why they haven’t. If PIF wanted to they could assist building of a new venue for them. Money talks at the end of the day. The point is, rebuilding all or even part of SJP is highly complicated. Why go through all that when there’s other better options.
  13. Maybe he was a close contact with someone with Covid, Howe saying he had a knock was a way of protecting him? Anyones guess. He did need a rest either way.
  14. Who are these people that join to post shit like that? So weird.
  15. Passing it around the back and comfortably keeping possession is something we haven’t done as a club in fucking years. It was beautiful to see. There is no way Lascelles is getting back in ahead of either of those two (if they are fit) We can see what he’s doing. He’s bit by bit improving the process.. now with this new foundation to build from at the back, we need to work on quicker transitions through the midfield. That’s where Bruno will come in when the manager thinks the time is right. And when Wilson is back.. (or someone new in the summer) it will change things again as there’s no way teams we’re playing against can play a high line or we’ll be in on them repeatedly.
  16. He needed a rest anyway. He’s been hobbling around for much of the final 30 mins all season. Could have been a blow for us today but we got through with a good result. The manager is in a position now to start looking after the players. It’ll be good for us later in season so we finish strongly.
  17. We also weakened Brighton so horses for courses. I’m not too troubled by what they are doing to be honest. We need to be looking above us now.
  18. Main reason we’re doing well at the moment is that we’re matching everyone in the midfield. Even Rice today had a very tough game against us and was quiet by his standards. Physicality is a big part of that, J7, Shelvey and Willock are all 6ft+ players, Bruno is 5’10? Howe is probably asking him to improve upper body strength before he gets thrown in. He’s doing the right thing by him. But he should be getting more than 5 mins.
  19. Bring Murphy back to RB, get that plodder Krafth off. Bruno on and push Willock into the No. 10 role.
  20. “Hey Kurt Zouma.. I wanna know how you kick that cat” ?
  21. Like the start, not afraid to knock it around
