  1. Not even the fact Caulkin confirmed they believed they were days away from approval after political intervention. This came after their original withdrawal and the money was deposited in an account waiting to be transferred. Think that’s pretty strong evidence that their original withdrawal was tactical. Caulkin is paid to make noise to sell clicks and print. Just show me a PIF statement since their withdrawal statement that shows they still have an interest in buying the club. Do that and I’m with you all the way. I really don’t think Caulkin has made that up. Very cynical and ignoring a lot of evidence to the contrary.

  3. Sheffield Utd away all over again this cunt never learns. Thick as pig shit !
  4. Only coupled with a Fulham win though, if we’re still outside of bottom 3 the cunt will survive another week.
  5. Yip, the tests are very much aligned now aswell, the only thing outside arbitration that swings this is the Bein situation which may soften stances and lead to a settlement.
  6. Manorpark has consistently (over the past 10 years plus) posted some really interesting stuff about our history, both club and city. It's pretty understandable that the takeover has consumed a lot of posters on here. There's nothing else to get stuck into. Yeah I’ve read some of his stuff on city centre developments, clearly someone who is passionate about every aspect of this great city. Never lose that enthusiasm.
  7. To use a good old English expression . . "Crikey". I have never posted anything unrealistic in my life, if you think something I have posted is . . then you know where the problem lies. Until I gave it up, I have had a Season Ticket at St James' since Season 1969/1970 (I was the original 'glory hunter' after we won the Fairs Cup . . hmm!!) so I am more knowledgeable and 'interested in' NUFC than most people I know. However, the only thing that really matters to NUFC in 2020 and 2021 is the Takeover, which is why that is absolutely the only thing worth posting about until it happens. To the word 'Crikey', I would add (about your comments) the word 'Dispiriting'. Crikey that takes me back.....feyenoord, Rangers semi -final and the glorious Upjest Dosza in the final...I wonder how many of us,Manorpark, who are on this forum who were around in our “glory Days" A couple of years ago, in 2019, I celebrated the "50th Anniversary" of our Fairs Cup Win with this long thread, with hundreds of photos and memories HERE . . . https://www.skyscrapercity.com/threads/fairs-cup-newcastle-united-and-the-1969-fairs-cup-win-50th-anniversary-1969-to-2019.2177948/post-159296132 Some great pictures there Manorpark.
  8. Not a legal expert but I have complete faith in Shaheed Fatima on this score. What may look very straight forward to lay men like ourselves, could be far more complex when Saudi law is applied, which I’m led to believe the PL did not seek external advice on. That’s my simplistic optimistic take on the matter.
  9. From a Palace forum, now I’m not sure what date the PL rules changed, however I believe they should be reapplied every season regardless. "Ownership of details of the Palace Holdco now up at companies house. Figures being rounded roughly show Steve P - 18% Steve B - 5% Martin L - 2.5% Jeremy H - 5% Palace Holdco LP (a limited partnership registered in Delaware) 67.5% Palace Parallel LLC (a company also registered in Delaware) - 1.5% In addition both Palace Holdco and Palace Parallel have 180 preference shares each. The relevance of Delaware is that that is where the trail ends as Delaware allows companies not to have to provide the names of any of their owners - something which makes it very popular for registering companies. Therefore there are no details as to who owns shares in either of the 2 Delaware companies. The only thing of note is that Parallel was formed only in June this year and some shares were transferred to it from Holdco - so presumably a reorganisation of the US owners. I think it is fair to call the US names the owners from now on."
  10. Agreed it’s in the lap of the gods and I’m sure De Marco will have advised the club of that re arbitration. The club haven’t actually fired the starting gun on the hearing yet though, so watch this space and the Middle East in particular, that’s still very relevant.
  11. That's a low enough bar to give a limboing ant problems. To be fair I’ve been consistent throughout this in my position and guess what it’s still very much on. The club have confirmed it’s not about compensation and the Saudis are still waiting to complete. Who’d have thought aye. I would hope that the legions of "Nothing is happening / it is definitely all OFF" types that post on the other thread have the decency to admit they have been WRONG . . even if they cannot quite bring themselves to aplogise to the likes of me and you WM, for some of the 'ridiculous' crticisms they have made about us. Until that Saudi flag is unfurled above SJP I think we’ll still be considered a pair of optimistic loons manorpark
  12. I'm back for one statement and then Im off again A bit of pre-amble - bare with me: Crystal Palace On 18 December 2015, it was announced that a new deal had been signed with American investors Josh Harris and David Blitzer.[103] The club stated that Steve Parish would continue as chairman alongside Harris and Blitzer as general partners in a new structure, and that Browett, Long and Hosking would also retain a substantial investment.[104] The company accounts later showed that the ownership figures were: Steve Parish 18%, Steve Browett 5%, Jeremy Hosking 5% and Martin Long 2.5% with the remainder being owned by Palace Holdco LP (a limited partnership registered in Delaware) 67.5% and Palace Parallel LLC (a company also registered in Delaware) 1.5%. Both Palace Holdco and Palace Parallel have 180 preference shares each. As the Delaware companies do not have to reveal their owners the exact ownership of the club is therefore unknown but Steve Parish confirmed that each of Harris and Blitzer had an 18% share to match his own. So the Premier League doesn't know who owns 67.5% of Crystal Palace as Delaware companies don't have to reveal their owners. The Premier League accepted this as they can't argue against the rule of Law in the USA. Remember this as its important. Now onto NUFC and PIF. Premier League are arguing that they can't separate PIF from KSA and as such the KSA is a potential director of NUFC. This, as has been said previously could then allow them to link MBS to owning NUFC and the state piracy of Bein, Beout. PIF apparently sent details stating that PIF is separate to KSA in Saudi Law but PL didn't accept this. So the PL approved a Delaware Company which doesn't disclose its owners/Directors because in US law where the company is based, that is its right but on the NUFC takeover, wont accept that PIF is separate under Saudi Law and choses to ignore/reject. This is the crux of the matter and why Shaheed Fatima is on the case with Nick. How can PL accept US Law and not even know who owns Crsytal Palace (For all they know, it could be MBS) but reject Saudi Law stating PIF is separate to the state? In essence, they shouldn't be able to and hopefully this will come out in Court. Im off again, enjoy your baiting of each other, you sad f***s! That’s the most positive post for months. Much better than the Keith s*** being touted. You do realise Mitch, Steve Hastie and Keith have been talking about Delaware companies and the Palace ownership for weeks ?
  13. I think Kennedy summed it up pretty well last night.

  15. It had you hooked aswell even funnier Not really I’ve had you down for a WUM weeks ago at least you are showing it to all now. Grow up man Not hard to wind you up to be honest. Not getting in to this with you. No one wants to read it. You’ve already been banned before for s**** like this. Take a breath kid Not bad considering he knows f*** all aye. Stick with me gdm I’ll keep you updated despite the fact you said it was all but over last week.

  17. You are on the wind up surely? How does it look less likely arbitration is going ahead? They’ve literally picked the panel ??
  18. Where at the score cards robster, plenty of tea whilst we wait.
  19. Now that it look like arbitration is going ahead, we should all ensure we remain fit and healthy for the fight ahead. Excellent advice from Ryan here ??⚫️⚪️ https://twitter.com/RyanMaine_/status/1365439202494738434?s=20
  20. Yeah there’ll be some transparency which is a positive, disappointed a deal hasn’t been negotiated though and we are in the lap of the gods now. But how long could they have held off waiting for Bein to be fully reinstated etc, obviously things can change during arbitration and we’ll have to see if an agreement is struck during the hearing. Cautiously optimistic and fingers crossed for all of us.
  21. Jonjo disagrees with you here mind.
  22. Who is he Whitley mag[/member] ? Works for Arab News based in Riyadh, he’s had previous on the takeover last year.
  23. Kennedy has said in the past that Keith has told him things, but because he couldn’t check that it was factual he didn’t report on it. So despite him being Keith’s mate, I get the impression he isn’t the only source he has. He speaks to PIF.
