Give me Lindisfarne any day of the week.

Agree completely, got my doubts about Maddison, not as a footballer but as suited to our way of play. The only thing is though if Bruno got injured would we have that creative spark to see a pass, not so sure and there’s an argument that he could be useful in tight games at home when we need to break down a packed defence. We would lose a lot of physicality in midfield by dropping Longstaff or Joelinton at the minute, so not sure how he fits in especially for what he’d cost.
-
Kone, Mudryk, Maddison or Diaby in January would be a real statement of intent. All different players but any one of them would unquestionably provide something different to what we’ve got.

It must be very tiring pretending to be constantly outraged in order to deal with something outside of your control. I’m actually finding the Mackems mental gymnastics quite interesting to watch along with being highly amusing of course.

Beat me to it good read and some new names mentioned.

Apparently we shouldn’t wear poppy’s now, some absolute deranged cunts over there. It’s Remembrance Sunday today. Not one Newcastle fan who supports your murderous majority ownership (KSA) should be wearing a poppy or pretending to pay their respects to our war dead who would be utterly ashamed and angry to see their efforts to ensure our freedom has resulted in such things as a medieval state owning an English football club. In their hearts the KSA hate the West and everything it stands for. They invest here because it suits them, not for any other reason. Hideous.

That is some control and finish no matter what league you’re playing in. -
Hope you cleaned up after yourself they’ve spent millions trying to make that area more upmarket.

Fucking love this lad, Rafa seen the potential, Bruce nearly finished his career and well Eddie has turned him into a fucking machine.
-
Apparently Chelsea weren’t what they once were off the pitch either according to RTG after tonight’s shenanigans.
-
They got a slap up Barrack Road tonight not kids either.
-
Mudryk, Kone and young lad from West Ham jobs a goodun.
-
Fucking hell I think we’re gonna win the league and World Cup under Eddie.

Once a week flight, will Newcastle not become a destination going forward for Saudi fans ? They’re also looking to make Neom a tourist destination, these things have to start somewhere. Who knows what the future holds with these owners, it’s not beyond the realms they run it as a loss leader in the mid term just for the exposure it will bring.

It’s fairly common knowledge that they’re in regular dialogue with the council isn’t it ? It would be more of a surprise if the topic of the stadium hadn’t come up in discussions, I’ll still be amazed if it’s financially viable to expand St Jame’s for the gains it would bring in capacity.

Someone said he had a poor game the other night but little bits I’ve seen would definitely take him. I could fully get on board with Bruno more advanced if this lad was in the holding role.

Arsenal at home was the bench mark performance and we’ve never looked back since without him, Longstaff ahead of him all day the way we play now. -

Folk never learn there lesson with Jonjo, I’m really not sure combative, high pressure-tastic and hard to play through the middle belong in the same team as that bloke. We’ve been brilliant for months without him anywhere near the team, Wednesday night should have been a wake up call go all the Jonjo fanboy’s. -
I’ll bite what’s the craic with this ?
-
Don’t think it’s rubbish as Mark Douglas reported a while back that the club had Mudryk very much on their radar. They’re out of the Champions League and how many clubs will be in a position to afford him in January. Certainly wouldn’t rule him out and think he’s more likely than Maddison in January.

Great article about the Brazil team from 82 could there have been a better team never to win it. The 3-2 against Italy is one of the first games I remember watching on tv, Rossi became the face of that World Cup but that Brazil team with Zico, Falcao, Junior and Socrates was something else. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/63568753
