  1. Not sure I think it helps but how long is that going to take ? It maybe they just forge ahead and if they can prove test was not carried out correctly, and Shaheed Fatima proves PIF are separate to state, then Bein is not an issue. I think De Marco and co would fancy chances of a settlement being reached if Bein was reinstated and court cases we’re dropped, as without the legal case in London re piracy is it worth the PL fighting the case on separation.
  2. Would Ashley be investing so much in this if he thought the bidders would just pull out on relegation. Also the amount of time and money invested by PCP to get this done since 2017 for them just to walk away ? Even if they had to pay over the odds for a championship club say 200 plus, look at the value of City, Spurs and Chelsea now, all clubs we we’re bigger than not long ago. This is part of Saudis 2030 vision, a long term investment which can be justified even if relegated on potential long term increase in value. To get this deal we will have to prove the PL did not complete the test correctly, in the event that is proven and we are relegated, this potentially opens up the possibility of a compensation case also for Ashley. He could rightly argue that had the test been carried out correctly his asset would not have been devalued. Of course as part of an arbitration settlement it could be agreed by all parties that Ashley will not pursue any said compensation. Along with Ashley’s new interest in expansion into the Middle East and Fraser group losses, it all opens up the possibility of a previously reluctant seller agreeing to a sale at a reduced price on relegation.
  3. Always a positive to see one of Mike’s companies making a loss.
  4. Exactly and with Bruce in charge they’ll do the fucking double over us. The club could literally be finished for years if this doesn’t go through. If people think Ashley has been a disaster up to this point, I suspect a post covid and disinterested Ashley could exceed all our expectations. This is a tipping point whether you think this goes through or not, i literally don’t think there’ll be a club left worth supporting if it doesn’t.
  5. Spot on from Kennedy, he must be reinstated this weekend.
  6. It is ManorparK (singular) thanks very much! Me and WM are not related actually, but one thing we do have in common is the fact that we are both totally correct in our understanding of what will be the outcome of this Takeover. My advice to all the 'waverers' is to just . . . . W A I T People should seriously hope we are correct, because the alternative doesn’t bare thinking about. Even if we stay up the noises already are that there’ll be no money to spend, and that’s the best case scenario. Should we get relegated you can bet your life Bruce will not be paid off, and will get the job to bring us back up. I’d even predict should the mackems come up, they’d spend more than us and probably with momentum of promotion have a better season. In either scenario that won’t be a club I’ll be supporting any longer. Luckily my view is Ashley has already abandoned ship and we’ll have our club back soon. The only question is which division that’ll be in.
  7. How on earth will we get 6 points from the next 4? Wishful thinking perhaps, but realistically this run of fixtures is make or break for us. We need to pull something out of the bag as unrealistic as that looks at the minute.
  8. 2 week international break after Brighton, I think it’ll depend on how many points we get in next 3.
  9. If true and we can get at least 6 points out of next 4, then we might just scrape it providing he stays fit for run in.
  10. Absolutely don’t think in the history of the PL could a team have been set up so negatively and badly as that night. The night he introduced us to his false 10, playing Dummett at wing back, dropping Almiron, then failing to bring our hardest working and fastest player on when down to 10 men. Then after setting us up with 9 defensive players against the leagues worst team, he allegedly has the arrogance to make S Longstaff the scapegoat. The kid probably didn’t have a fucking clue what he was meant to be doing that night.
  11. Lots of people have said he actually did say club we’re dragging out arbitration, haven’t listened myself yet but wouldn’t be the first time he’s been accused of misrepresenting the facts. On the plus side Kennedy did say things were moving albeit slowly last week, and refused to comment when asked if arbitration had actually begun.
  12. Back in happier times, was at this game but completely forgot how well Dyer played that day, some cracking finishes.
  13. I think you’re right on this, lose against Wolves and I’m pretty sure he’s gone. Question is will it just be Jones until the end of season and is it to late, at this point I’ll take Jones until end of season.
  14. It’s as simple as this we’re massively in the shit.
  15. The face of a serial loser only to happy to have gifted his former club 3 points. No wonder the team looks as though they couldn’t give a s*** anymore, he was probably jovial in the dressing room afterwards aswell. To give this c*** even 1 more game is a disgrace, he’s overseen no points in consecutive home games against Leeds and Palace which has us completely in the s***. He’s incapable of making the calls required to keep us up, for instance Shelvey needs dropped immediately an absolute passenger that Rafa had long since discarded with. His mismanagement of S Longstaff, how anyone can blame the kid for regressing beggars belief under this imbecile. We could go on, his unbelievable decision not to play Almiron away to Sheffield United and allegedly blaming Longstaff for that tactical masterclass. This is the bloke who left Manquillo our best right back on the bench prior to being injured. Has left a goalkeeper on the bench who is clearly superior in every department and this has now undeniably cost us goals in recent games. His mismanagement of injuries and rushing players back. Lack of any ability to coach or employ tactics, does he even consider or know how the opposition are going to line up. The list is endless to highlight his incompetence and ultimately it always comes back to the question which club in there right mind goes from Rafa to Bruce. The answer is us under this joke of a regime, who let’s remember actively tried to encourage Rafa to take the Spain job the previous summer. The club claimed they had learnt lessons after acting to late with McClaren, this relegation will be deserved and wholly predictable yet again.
  16. You are a mad man there isn’t a chance Staveley & Ruebens will buy the club without PIF if they wanted to they’d have done so by now You’re absolutely wrong Staveley attempted to buy the club in the May prior and thought she could. This was an attempt to keep Benitez before he left, the Saudi’s only came on board in the November. She will own the club regardless. The price will be at a reduced level and I’ll gladly accept you’re apology in a couple of months when i’m right. She had backers then too wasn’t just her and ruebens. f*** all apology due Did she who were they ? That’s guesswork on you’re part I’m afraid. We’ll both know who’ll be right in a few months and that will be enough for me ? Can’t find the interview with caulkin after she provided proof of 3 bids but I’m sure (but maybe wrong) it said she had investors and in subsequent caulkin articles he mentions investors. At no point was she buying the club herself I’ll help you out the initial attempt had the backing of Chinese investors, however in the May when Rafa left it’s unknown where the funding was coming from. She’s keen to have Saudi backing as it takes us to next level, however she was happy to go ahead in the May if it had gone ahead. Which makes you’re argument redundant. So if you’re going to attempt to call people out, you really need to know you’re facts. Total guesswork she doesn’t have the money to do it herself. You are the most deluded poster I’ve ever seen. I’ll make it simple for you. It didn’t go ahead in May because it was never going to because she didn’t have the backing I have more reasoned discussions with my 10 year old Wrong she ideally wants serious wealth behind it to take us to the next level. PCP are basically an investment fund and she absolutely could go ahead and do a leveraged buy out akin to Burnley. She clearly doesn’t want to do that man. Do you seriously think if we get relegated she’ll try and buy us herself with investment from the Ruebens? So deluded. As you say she wants backers why would that suddenly change if we get relegated? No ideally she doesn’t want to do that, but that’s what she’ll do with the intention of running it as a sustainable business. Her first attempt to buy the club was basically her, Rueben’s, Chinese backing and sovereign wealth. Her company already hold a number of investment portfolios whereby sovereign wealth funds have holdings. PCP don’t necessarily need to have 1 major backer to enable deal to happen. As I said previously though she believes ideally you need major money to be able to compete, hence getting the Saudis on board. She will buy the club with a view to running it sustainably and hopefully getting PIF back involved once promoted. Keep going with the insults though I’m enjoying this ? You seem to have inside knowledge, so care to share your source? Unfortunately not mate. However, having met a lot of people over 35 years of following this club all over the place, like a lot of people I hear stuff 2nd and 3rd hand. I base my ramblings on here on a mixture of what I hear and read. I’m convinced this is going through in some form relegation or not, if it doesn’t I certainly won’t be deleting my account and will happily take whatever abuse comes.

  22. Not true this is his last chance to get 340 million and he knows it, he will cut his losses if we go down this time. He had to put 30 million in last time we went down and it will be far greater this time due to covid. It’s simply not happening a heavily incentivised deal will be struck.
  23. Absolute negativity in the other thread and I’ll remind people of this paragraph from Caulkin’s recent article. Absolutely nothing has changed if we stay up and win arbitration PIF will be involved. If the worst case happens, I’m absolutely now convinced Staveley and Rueben’s will assume control. Ashley is done with the club now and this is the reason he is loathe to spend anything on replacing Bruce. However, should all go wrong this week on the pitch the bullet will be fired. Ashley is spending millions on legal fees and make no mistake will move to protect his investment in next week should he need to. From athletic ‘Far from being put off, they say, pushing through the deal is now a matter of national pride to PIF. “They want to keep their distance until it can be resolved,” one source says. “They’re not going to waste time on it unless it can be done. But if the Premier League think they’ve given up, they’re wrong.’
  24. That’s simply untrue if we stay up and test is passed it will include Saudi’s.
  25. It wouldn't be nowhere near like what it was back then though. Times have changed, and so has your average NUFC fan. Certainly has you wouldn’t get a convoy of lads in transit vans piling down the motorways these days. Our away support was mental, used to be buzzing all week in the lead up to an away day.
