  1. I’m at ease with it a new away top hasn’t just brought this about. Everyone knows where owned by Saudi Arabia, people need to accept it or like LV said make choices, instead of boring the majority of us with their moral struggles.
  2. Caulkin gets on my tits these days bore off.
  3. Our owners are from Saudi Arabia and want to grow our support and income from that country. Nowt else to see here, it’s an away top who gives a fuck.
  4. No publicity is bad publicity, this shirt will fly off the shelves as a result.
  5. I predict it’ll be the biggest selling away shirt since the original maroon and blue hoop one in the 90’s. It looks smart and when the new signings start rolling, it’ll fly off the shelves both here and in the Saudi mall’s.
  6. Hopefully the drunken tramp Barry.
  7. Was Danjuma particularly great at Bournemouth, or has he just come to prominence since the move to Villarreal ?
  8. To busy scrambling for Wembo tickets marra.
  9. Anderson gets a good write up in this sky article covering the best young EFL talent this season. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12609728/could-brennan-johnson-or-keane-lewis-potter-make-it-in-the-premier-league-sky-bet-efl-questions-answered
  10. Brilliant mission accomplished, it’s almost like we’re starting to embrace being hated with this top.
  11. Left wing looks a bit stacked mind.
  12. That top will go down a stormer in the Bridges this summer.
  13. It’s not particularly the current squad, though I’d argue Bruno and Trippier should have parity with whatever Lingard is on, it’s the fact that it would be the benchmark for any new signings going forward. At this stage it’s not sustainable for us under FFP to carry that many high earners until our income increases.
  14. Mathematically safe and all down to these people for sticking with the club through the dark days of the takeover. There can be no doubt that the future would be beyond bleak right now under Ashley, we would have potentially been looking at the club being stripped back further from the skeleton it was, Bruce taking charge in the Championship, facing the smogs and possibly mackems next season and fully expecting to get turned over. The press and football in general would have revelled in our relegation. What a turn around and I’d struggle to think of another club in football with a brighter and bigger future.
  15. Aye, never happening just wait until the first flights from Riyadh to Ponteland are announced. The mackems will be lobbying Sunderland Council to try and stop them.
  16. We get a mention as competition for Hickey in this article. https://football-italia.net/arsenal-step-up-pursuit-of-bologna-talent-hickey/
  17. Very wise move not paying Lingard daft money in my opinion. On the basis of half a decent season at West Ham it would be crazy. Yes there’s no fee involved, but in terms of the wage structure it would cause huge problems at an early stage going forward making him the benchmark.
  18. Dubious source but Fabian Ruiz alongside Bruno. https://www.footballfancast.com/newcastle-united-transfer-rumours/newcastle-fabian-ruiz-premier-league-magpies-barcelona-napoli
  19. They’re not happy with Wycombe getting 20k allocation , massive lads fans will be all over their end. I think amnesia has set in and they’ve forgot about the thousands of unsold seats they had for the Charlton final.
  20. Be a bit disappointed if Hickey goes to Arsenal for 17 million. Can play full back either side and looks to have big future. Personally would have gambled on him at that price, think he’ll have a higher ceiling than Targett moving forward. Scotland seem to be churning out some decent young full backs at the minute.
  21. Not so sure this is outlandish as it seems, the bloke at Sunderland previously worked at Birmingham and was credited with their youth set up. He possibly even signed Bellingham up at Birmingham in the first instance. Birmingham are a fucking mess at the minute and if the mackems come up they might be considering them. It’s worth remembering the age of this kid and similarly with Jude he probably wants guaranteed 1st team football despite his age. He wouldn’t get that at a PL club, so if he wants a stepping stone his family may trust the guy at Sunderland now with his development. That being said I have read previously that he’s considered better than Jude at his age, if that’s the case I would expect a PL club to step in and agree to loan him out for 1st team football.
  22. More Gerrard type who likes to put his foot in perhaps ?
  23. This seems to back up what you’ve seen on YouTube. https://smarterscout.com/articles/premier-league-ibrahim-sangare-ligue-1-toulouse-tottenham-hotspur-arsenal
  24. Exactly what we need a midfield enforcer, probably cheaper than Haidara aswell.
  25. Some set up off the pitch down there, but feel they’ve had success to quickly and often. The place should have been bouncing but I think they take it a bit for granted these days. Evolution not revolution is def the way forward and I think we’ll savour it all the more when our time comes. The journey is probably going to be the most exciting part and if it takes 5 years plus to be competitive at the top end who gives a fuck.
