  1. Liam Kennedy on Wraiths podcast said he expects some legal movement on takeover before weekend, never expanded on it but would imagine must be something to do with NCSL.
  2. More evidence of the incompetent s*** show in operation at the training ground. Absolutely no surprise where the first club to postpone a fixture, the whole set up from top to bottom is 3rd rate.
  3. Clearly the Qatari’s have bought this for a laugh in the event takeover is approved.
  4. Get Simon Bird on there his coverage of the takeover was fucking abysmal, convinced he’s a mackem bastard.
  5. There’s 2 legal cases ongoing with the aim of moving this forward. From what I’ve understood the buyers/Ashley hope this might get resolved before cases are heard due to PL having to disclose incriminating evidence. They’re obviously confident there has been outside influences in the process, I’m inclined to believe they’re correct due to evidence from PBP, previous no red flags, and active lobbying by rival clubs confirmed by Staveley and also reputable national journos such as Henry Winter. Now if national journalists were aware of certain clubs lobbying, I’m inclined to think the PL will be nervous as it’s clearly common knowledge what has gone on. Basically chill out mate, I’m as impatient as anybody but as others have said quiet is not a bad thing and we shouldn’t be expecting a running commentary. It’s only due to the great work of NCSL that we are seeing public pressure being applied. However, don’t mistake their public messages as desperation, as it appears all part of a concerted and coordinated effort involving buyers and sellers.
  6. How fucking frustrating is it, where literally a signature and bank transfer away from dreamland. There has to be something seriously wrong when we have a buyer, seller and fanbase desperate for this to happen, and a bunch of corrupt bastards sitting in London have the power to just block it without being held accountable. “There is still a feeling within the buyers camp that this pressure will yield a result and there is a determination not to be caught on the hop if there is sudden movement."
  7. If you were having trouble with sending an MP letter the other day, this link makes it a piece of piss. http://londonmagpiegroup.co.uk/nufc-v-premier-league
  8. Yeah I’m not doubting the poster, not that he probably gives a shit whether I am or not. However, PIF seems to have a lot of areas of business and a lot of people working there will only have the company line. If everyone remembers the dear old Professor Chadwick, he continually claimed sources at PIF were saying they had no interest in NUFC. As we all know he was spectacularly wrong and not even the Ronny Gill bother him for quotes anymore.
  9. Not having a go at previous poster, as love to hear any itk stuff. However, all signs point to them still being very much at table and ready to move. I’m sure PIF’s official line is quite different to the real situation, and multiple sources have confirmed they’re ready to complete deal once PL pass test. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/revealed-behind-scenes-move-newcastle-19359905
  10. Big exclusive If this is true, suggests government are set to intervene in governance of football. https://www.shieldsgazette.com/sport/football/newcastle-united/exclusive-newcastle-united-takeover-roadblock-likely-removed-government-fan-led-review-set-blunt-project-big-picture-3050973
  11. Has anyone had a reply from their MP yet ? No reply from that mackem bastard Alan Campbell yet. Newcastle Consortium Supporters 1h We’re seeing brilliant support from MP’s for fans in their constituency to make this a public interest matter. Send your letter & join fans who’ve had enough of big pictures, big 6’s and blatant delays of Masters, Hoffman, Bird & Bird. Fans want answers!
  12. That is the question. I find it hard to believe he goes without the takeover at this point, which would suggest a double cause of celebration. So if its takeover related and if the takeover is about to go through, why exactly would Ashley sack him? It wouldn't be his problem anymore. I’m just guessing on this I really haven’t got a clue. Never thought Ashley would sack him currently looking at league position, therefore I’m guessing either takeover is imminent and new owners are going to sack him, or more likely they’re seriously worried he’s taking us down and have instructed Ashley to get rid as not to jeopardise deal. Who the f*** knows though.
  13. That is the question. I find it hard to believe he goes without the takeover at this point, which would suggest a double cause of celebration.
  14. Is it not just as simple as mimms being told again the consortium want rid of Bruce ? However, unless the takeover happens this ain’t happening. The optimist in me says that mimms thinks takeover is close, and therefore Bruce will be gone.
  15. I agree think Caulkin is probably on the money, but things could change quickly particularly if the PL have to disclose info before arbitration or any court case.
  16. Nothing to worry about as mimms said this is a sideshow to the real case. I think they are playing their role in this very well, think of them as an annoying side effect, to the more serious source of pain.
  17. Newcastle Consortium Supporters @NCSL1892 Thank you Mehrdad @ghodoussi for your kind support. We now have tens of thousands of fans all pulling in one direction to deliver this takeover. We look forward to making this happen and welcoming you to our City. We’ll fight this until we win!
  18. I think this confirms that NCSL are continuing with their legal action, and this is just basically keeping the pressure on. This deserves the same level of support as NUST initiative, as it’s not just calling for transparency it’s also far more focussed on progressing the takeover. You could argue it could be a bit more focussed, but I personally think it’s great and covers all our grievances with what’s going on, which let’s be honest is difficult to sum up in a few words. I’ve already forwarded this to family and friends, think it’s important we all do the same to let local MP’s know they should be banging down the govts door regarding this. Newcastle Consortium Supporters @NCSL1892 Our process has FULL support. Get NUFC case expedited & in public to prevent EPL claiming this clashes with other cases. Fan’s stay together - legal teams will take this fight forward! Word doc below. Thanks for your support! #NUFC #NUFCTakeover
  19. The faintly deranged and desperate way in which this letter is written suggests the cash for that highly paid lawyer is no longer there, and that this isn't in fact part of a carefully co-ordinated 4D chess play that will cripple the Premier League. Buyer backed so I’d suggest it is coordinated. Mark Douglas @MsiDouglas 2h Buyer-backed @NCSL1892 launch new bid for transparency in fight for #NUFCTakeover. Details here - plus you can view the letter they've prepared.
  20. Speak for yourself. Ha ha ha it wouldn’t copy and paste Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Word doc version now on NCSL twitter.
  21. Exactly can’t understand why anyone wouldn’t at least take 2 minutes to do this. The least these lads deserve is our full support, any pressure is good pressure. Also important to note it is the clubs case that they are trying to expedite and make sure is done transparently.
  22. This site will allow you to paste their letter, and e mail off. This action is backed by both buyer and seller, no excuse for anyone who wants this takeover not taking 2 mins to do it. https://www.writetothem.com//
  23. More details on NCSL action. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/make-public-consortium-reveals-next-19345310
