  1. Doku would be an interesting alternative to St Max and younger. Him and Todibo would complete the window nicely. We’ll dominate possession with Tonali and Bruno but think we’ll still struggle to break teams down and need something different in final third.
  2. Very smart if only the material was on par with adidas and Nike.
  3. Aye, be a few on here harbouring suspicions that he’s a brexiteer at this point. Personally, think it’s bollocks when he clearly wanted McTominay for a bit of Gaelic flair.
  4. ‘Likes a pint and has hoyed the beef on’ Sounds like we’ve signed the football version of Bill Werbeniuck.
  5. ‘Meek defensively’ I thought we’d passed on Diaby because he couldn’t defend.
  6. Aye that Todibo is decent aswell apparently.
  7. There’ll be another midfielder/attacker signed on top of Barnes, Livaremento and CB. Think it’ll be an exciting one as well.
  8. City Centre or Duke Street has a few pubs including the Louden which will be stowed off pre match.
  9. Aye the font nonces would have something to whinge about then.
  10. He’ll not want to support city after hearing and seeing the Broomloan Stand tomorrow night.
  11. Should be an illuminated St James Park across East Stand for a complete change.
  12. Saudis blowing FFP out the water, just wait until they start gazumping some of the established clubs for players. One look at how they transformed the landscape in golf would say nothings beyond the realms with the sums at their disposal.
  13. Would hope not, it’s not even the best chippy in Whitley never mind the North East, some nice Italian gelato next door though.
  14. That’s the type of content this place is lacking.
  15. Both wings look very average especially if St Max leaves, big pressure on Gordon to justify the fee spent on him next season in my opinion.
  16. I think it does and would personally rather see a lb and cb brought in with the funds. Howe wanted the Gordon deal in January, so I’d have no qualms with Ashworth refusing to sanction another left sided forward.
  17. Sounds like Titus Bramble for 85 minutes until he had a meltdown moment.
  18. It’s also got to be remembered it was clearly stated at the time in January, funds were brought forward from summer budget for the Gordon deal. In my opinion there’s no way Barnes joins without St Max leaving, taking into account FFP constraints signing 2 predominately left sided attackers from the same budget would appear overkill, when we have other areas crying out for investment. An ageing, slow back line needs upgrading I don’t care what the stats say about last season, we’ll be found out big style next season without a new LB and CB.
  19. Going to be a cracking day / night in Glasgow, the Louden will be full by 3pm. The Louden will be open at 2 pm - Midnight on Tuesday for Allan McGregor's Testimonial Match. The Louden is easily accessible from the City Centre or West End via the Underground System and is situated directly opposite the Ibrox Subway Station We will have our usual free food available, Rolls and Sausage, Cheese and Ham Rolls, Hot Dogs, Scotch Pies, and Kabab Pies. The Louden is an 18-and-over Venue Newcastle Fans will be welcome
  20. West Ham might tempt him once he realises he’s just going to be Kvaradona’s understudy.
  21. Under contract until 2027 but on a low wage which you would think would have to be re-negotiated, particularly these days with the way agents work. Could still be a tricky one for Napoli to negotiate as he may want a release clause on any new contract and their owner is notoriously a hard negotiator.
