St Max has been excellent last couple of games I’d be nervous about letting him leave, especially for a replacement like Barnes. Against Man U and City this season he’s showed he belongs at the top level, it’s just keeping him fit.

I agree Ugarte maybe young but he’s cut it in European competition this season. I’ve gone off the idea of Maddison in recent weeks though he’s undoubtedly a great player. I think his injury record and the way we play with such high intensity just isn’t suited to him. Much better value on the continent and the summer gives us time to bed them in.

Aye a 3k increase wouldn’t be feasible or worthwhile, I was sure original plans must have included SW corner aswell. Still think it’s going to take something spectacular and very expensive to get St James anywhere near 65k.
