Far from a cherry pick but even if it was can you genuinely say we make that much noise in our big games consistently like they do ? We undoubtedly have moments where the whole ground gets going and it’s loud, but we don’t have consistent vocal support on that level. A big game for us this season would be Southampton in league cup, there were large periods of eerie silence throughout. A singing section helps but does that explain the whole upper tier and lower tier of Stretford End standing, that’s majority of games and not just big ones either. We’d never have that at St Jame’s currently due to the clientele. Now Old Trafford did have a large period where there atmosphere was shite, the point is whether through ground expansion or what they seem to have done something about it.

The whole Kop, upper Stretford end, south stand Leeds, Villa Park and Forrest the other night have large sections that stand. This is without rail seating what happens there ? honestly man I think our support has gone to the fucking dogs.

Fuck me god forbid some folk can’t be put out for the greater good. Large swathes of fans stand at other PL grounds, since when did we become infested with the most selfish, theatre going, least edgy and fucking boring fans in the country.

That would be such a waste and why anyone who doesn’t want to stand should be encouraged to shift.

The only Southampton midfielder I’d be taking at these prices quoted would be Lavia. The only 3 British midfielders I want us entertaining in the summer are Maddison , Rice and Bellingham.
